lol especially on here
I still fail to see the problem ppl have with CoD3, a community wanting something different slanders 3? WaW does totally feel like the devs were totally "spoon-fed" though.
You say a game shouldn't get GOTY based on one standpoint alone but then you state one yourself. While yes, a "pure innovation standpoint" holds more ground then sales in any regard, GOTYs should be examined on many standpoints like execution as well, at least imo.
Heavy Rain's sales alone are already encouraging devs to take those chances. I'm not saying I know the industry but a game that'll end at around 2million or more sales in its lifetime ...
How is it not the same with Halo? There are still features in Halo 3 that are rarely done in console FPS. Far Cry 2 is the only FPS I know of that has a forge like option. How is Halo getting a free ride in any regard?
Who's to say flailing's aren't imaginary, as well?
Why does that matter?
It'll beat MW2 (360 version) in first week and in the long haul I'd imagine.
Your point is kind-of moot until you actually play it. This isn't off-place DLC that was actually on the disc like your other example. The TV-episodic formula makes Alan Wake DLC only logical and argueably more fitting overall. Seeing as to how well the first DLC is, AW's DLC package COULD possibly have a better standing then Borderlands' DLC (which is basically the best by critics).
I'll certainly be buying. Interested to see what subtle gameplay variations they bring this time. Hopefully, they conclude this side-story as well.
SC: Conviction isn't that sourced from Taken.
Funny how things like that turn out :P.
#1 is already happening. Pretty solid list overall
Some of those aren't even delayed titles.
Bear in mind, I grabbed "simple gameplay" from the poster above me. I should add that the characters are great in UC2 as well but if you truly think the bread-n-butter of its story and storytelling is amazing then you're the one living in a fiction.
I wasn't impressed at all when I saw some of its gameplay. The technical side of IdTech5 (5 right?) sounds simply amazing and knowing it'll run at 60 FPS sounds great but I still fail to see how it looks stunning.
Oh yeah, probably still holds the best draw distance on consoles. Great scenery.
Sash beat ya :P.
Slippy is
Hmmm...unsung you say? I've heard great things about Metro 2033's gfx.
This title puts the pun in punny :P
