23 replies on here (thus far) and you call that "so many". I guess it could work if you compared the ratio of how many are on here :P

I wonder if they'll have special TD dances/poses just for TO and 85 in Madden '11 now. That'd be win
:P I've never seen the term math before put into a plural tense. Is "maths" actually a useable term in the UK? If so, Fail on my part for speaking too soon as well :(.
Did he really say "You do the maths"?
Ha, that'll be a great custom award. Alan Wake will win some GOTY awards for sure though.
They already stated they're bringing that to Gears 3.
I found the beginning lighthouse seen to show more tensity than Stuckey.
taking more bullets? Looking at other replies, Matthew94's first post is actually spot-on.
@HeyImWiiTarded
Wouldn't I have to be in the minority to be the "in denial" group? Just saying ;)
@DevilsJoker
Yes, congrats at taking that out of context and twisting the entire meaning. Rare back during the N64 days held great prestige when considering that they innovated how console fps' work and made a slew of AAA-quality games (by the general opinion), not the same can be said now. While they've branched out...
Despite the PS3-fanboyish belief, they still make solid titles. Just because they don't hold up to previous titles on N64 and before, doesn't make the games bad. Can ppl not distinguish between disappointment and terrible/bad?
Still a tough one for me to decide considering I'm a huge fan of the original.
@Soda Pop
I wouldn't go that far but yes this could become the best Summer of Arcade for 360 yet.
Haha would've loved to have seen this as the first post :D.
Agreed, I still don't understand why it has an average above the first one (I'm guessing most reviewers played sys link or something like that?). While it would still edge out a 9.0 in my graph (like MW2 barely makes it), I personally feel it doesn't deserve that average it has even though mine's only .4-ish off.
Credit should be given to what Epic's done now though since I've personally found Gears 2's MP to be slightly better than 1 thx to thi...
Both Inception and Gears play their hand amazingly well to what's most highly expected to their respective mediums: story/entertainment for movies and gameplay/entertainment for video games. Certain ppl have different cut-off lines for what's acceptable as a 10/10 (since no game is TRULY perfect) and I can't blame someone for giving Gears a 10.
My only 10 from this gen would still be The Orange Box but I still need to play SMG 1+2.
Linearity and being the same are completely different. Whether you regard a good story or not would not effect the score in a huge way like that.
AW's final cost haven't been released (and probably won't be) but Remedy's initial expedetures were to be 7 million before MS came in.
You need to consider more than just the timeline when considering Remedy's a small dev. team of about 40 while Crackdown could've expended more manpower and money for their machine. Remedy posted their dev costs and they really only reached around the cost of the first Gears of War (a bit over 12 million I believe) or at least that's what I've read. Plus AW was released with a limited edition where Crackdown wasn't (at least not a US+Europe limited).
Good points but I fail to see how the controls are even somewhat cumbersome considering it uses certain "GeoW" mechanics.
I didn't find the trailer to be that great either. Still excited to see the some huge Reach battles though.
