I personally could follow every step of MW2, but I knew that it was veryyyy cluttered once the credits rolled. It actually wasn't a terrible storyline either, just terribly inconsistent as if the levels were hurting the progression.
Yea, KOTOR 1+2 are some of the few that show off a foray of what great stories are about.
Not as many things as what it takes to make a movie's story successful. I don't want to point out examples for the sake of getting ppl wound up, but there's rarely a case of having a natural flow w/ character's dialouge with the solid story in videogames. I'd love to see a parody-type of game where it points out every cliche among many games :P.
Don't try to downplay it. If you care at all about its story (or story in general) you'll about 20 hours through 2 playthroughs. You can't get all manuscript pages until Nightmare mode.
I always rented :P. Madden's BS contract with NFL still pisses me off. They still haven't made a '05-current football game that's better than ESPN NFL 2k5 imo.

That's like wondering why they had to add more and more elements to things like Inception and Lost. The opening cinematic gives a huge hint anyway.

Yeah, there is a feeling of the new system being in it's "starter home" phase when it comes down to how far the tactics go, but it's so darn fun with the foundation anyway. Hint for later skirmishes (to all): deploy with a low amount of ppl like tanks, an engineer, and 1-2scouts. Once you grab an enemy base closer to the main objective, then call in the other guys who cover less ground.
Here's hoping VC2 comes to PS3 :D.

Can't imagine an adult going overboard to say "go home and die" over fanboys downplaying a game on the internet. While PS3 fanboys have been smearing Limbo unjustly on here, that should be expected anyway given how many there are.

Don't have a problem with that, just giving you the info. Considering Split/Second had a backing with Disney advertisement, I'd put that as more disappointing than Modnation anyway. No one consider 3d or Modnation to sell boatloads anyway.
Fail to see how Alan Wake flopped hard in any sense of quality. Remedy stated time and time again the main reason behind taking out AW's open world elements, which were to have a tighter-paced story. Your username says it all so I doubt you'll even take heed to this but that's how it is I guess.
