It does offer new elements.
Regardless of how it turns out, set up a bunch of different scenes where Carmine nearly dies. *Cue 1*
Carmine: "Wow! That sure was a great mission, guys."
*throws mint in his mouth and starts choking, cue dramatic music*
"Uuurrgh" *Successfully swallows moments later*
"That was close. Would've been a funny way to die though" <everyone laughs>
"I don't have your stone...and f**k you anyway" pwns that :P
Even with the legendary ending? Counting the after credits part, I'd say it was fitting and well-done (not one of the best though).
Okay list, GTA IV being on there is a head-scratcher but others belong. I would disagree with Brother in Arms: Hells Highway, being a huge fan of the series. While for any Bros. in Arms fan, you'll find the SP to be top-notch with a great music score, story, gameplay, etc. but the MP is really atrocious in so many ways. Not only is it limited to only a 1 life per round gametype, it has bad framerate, and everything feels clunkier than SP does for some reason (needed more time maybe). ...
Most have crowned it with the "it's so bad, it's good" title. Although Alone in the Dark probably has the greatest line in videogame history.
Once you've played KOTOR in it's entirety, you'll know his comparison isn't true. I'm fairly sure SW books coming out around Episode 1 explained this
I'm curious to see what it says to you though. A writer (Sam Lake) being stuck with the same general story for 5 years doesn't exactly sound enthralling to anyone.
Funny title with all things considered.
Not exactly major titles (except numero uno) but a pretty diverse list. Arcade game, PC, handheld, and console have one listed.
It's just a seen video with a comment about how unrealistic it is.
Alan Wake's so far the best one to deliver the TV-esque episodic formula and it's showing how much more it can do with the DLC. Well paced to show a few new questions that aren't hitched by the main storyline that much.
....Making fun games? Do you honestly believe they were "shunning" their own fanbase? Have you bothered to see their side of the story?
More unjust Rare hate incoming (waits to count disagrees).
First 6 posts fill up 2 posters bubbles (for this thread). Might just be me, do you see this often on here?
Figures he'd have to mention AW. You do realize it says "...and the biggest disappointments" right after that, right?
Gamers wanting to enjoy smaller-budget games (PSN/Arcade) means they're "relying" on them? Were you thinking your statement through or was this just a slant against 360 gamers?
Who says he's handing them out like candy? Have you seen give 10/10's to everything or is this one of his rare times?
Not to say it won't be great like it will be.
@disagrees
That's fine to object with me. I will admit they showed enough of your main character to make me wonder what emotional attachment he has to someone else on the planet. Not a bad trailer overall but not effing amazing.
KOTOR 2 doesn't get near the credit it deserves especially when it comes to the writing. Makes the game darker and raises very interesting question rarely asked in any medium involving Star Wars.
