I soooo want a Memento-like game :D.
I'd like for you to go back to NPD's reports about what's been selling well over here. *Hint* the entire list does not contain "generic shooter after generic shooter".
he must've meant: "the old guy's house in Heavy Rain" :P.
What I'm saying is how are player matches and a greater communication leap in gaming not the solution to this already? From my experience, hopping into clans that you wish to join is as easy as 1-2-3.
I can do really well in a CoD or Halo match and instantly get 3 messages about joining their clans. Next thing you know, I'm playing in a player match or I joined their party for the next game to see if I'm not just a fluke. I'm not saying game's shoul...
Have you taken a few notes from them?
Thx :). I might add a few more with an edit but was a bit split between making a huge list, or just making a small one that could perhaps garner more input from replies on here. Those top 3 are really the ones that grind my gears, especially #1 after reading IGN's Inception review.
You make it seem like there's only matchmaking to be had for online modes. Doesn't this entire point seem moot since the idea of inviting clan members to player matches exist. During it's inception, matchmaking was the way to "enhance the community feel".
I'm not saying your opinion is wrong. I just personally disagree and even lack of dedicated servers should be a bigger complaint than this.
No, I recall seeing the likes of Kung Fu Rider and other casual games that came along with Move's release. Just b/c they're not being advertised, doesn't mean they don't exist. Plz try sticking to my quote next time, never did I state move isn't getting "hardcore-ish" games to support it later on, I'm talking about what has been released.
Nothing personal, but you're making me wonder even more about the whole "how blinded fanboys...
Did you happen to miss their move releases? The only reasons they'd stick to "their hardcore roots" is if they're not making money off the "kiddie market". I'm beginning to wonder how blinded some fanboys are.
I find it funny to see it never being the headline of an article. It certainly has the worst luck when it comes to Sep. releases :P.
My imaginary 7-year old loves Steel Battalion! :P
Drop Lancer for the Hammer.
I get to tickle something real.
I concur with the review, a sure-sale for fans of the series. I'll be typing my review of it shortly.
I'm sure there's some that like the archtype of a badass soldier who's able to mow everyone down, but I don't think that's the majority of gamers. I'd definatly like to see AI that acts like a great team yet also give them human qualities. Perhaps every once and a while, someone might slip or drop their gun. Just make it something that can relate really well to gamers: the AI feels like a human and it (enemy AI) will fight tooth-n-nail in order to survive, sometimes...
They did a keyboard option now. Sure not a huge leap but perhaps they also added a bunch of new MP modes.
"Sony products are doomed"- certainly a cliche around'06-'08, but not anymore. Then again, I'm sure everyone who has seen your comments know what you're really stealthing for in this statement (at least I do).
"Kinect will sell a lot"- That's not really gaming sites per se, rather anaylist predictions (like Patcher) stating those.
Do you honestly believe that's their reasoning behind it? It wouldn't happen to be that they're infringing upon Xbox Live agreements, would it?
2's campaign sucked me in once I saw the ending of the first level cinematic
Except tickling Milo might get you charged with something.
