Just keep the conversation focused on the game being reviewed. Valenka stated above your post that the Forza 4 copy was simply borrowed from a brother and decided to review said game. Let's not devolve the conversation into a fanboy war.
I don't think anyone will mind a slight misstep in comparison to a 15k character blog (*jaw drops*). Well done, sir! I'll probably keep an eye out for this game in the near future.
Sweet! Congrats to all other winners.
Sigh...I'll admit your pun-infused sentence largely XLs over what I drew up for this t-shirt lottery. Way to CS:GO, Cajun!
:D
While I'm surprised at the score, I can't say I'm surprised at the general sentiment for this title by certain fans. When looking at the Dirt and Forza series, one can't help but wonder if the racing sim genre (let me repeat that this excludes arcade racers like Mario Kart) itself is fit to allow three or more iterations per generation. There's only so much you can do with genre most heavily based on realism and going in circles.
I'm still looking for...
but I think Alan Wake's American Nightmare is better at its initial price point.
It's more or less that underdog favoritism we all inherently possess. Since more and more heavy-hitting, "safe" titles release that feel less and less different from each other, gamers will always-rightfully-cheer for the next indie title that pursues something different from the pack.
At the same time, the question "When the **** is it ever fair for independent companies?" deserves to be raised. Gamers have to realize the capitalist system breeds...
I would if such a thing existed. May The Force Be With You! :)
I can agree to that; but the fault falls more to history classes having a tendency to romanticize those forefathers, not on the flawed people themselves. It's tough for anyone to expect them to have the tolerance we can possess today when they themselves constantly suffered religious persecution in many parts of Europe.

Bloggers/Reviewers' competitive edge might decrease dramatically if that happened. ;)
". . .last days of slavery. . ."
Perhaps that was mistyped?
Anyway, I'm glad to hear Ubi's taking these head on, but I'll be pissed if they just tip-toe around certain aspects, like slavery. Just present a completely honest look of your fictional story like Stowe did with "Uncle Tom's Cabin."
Hopefully they dive into the Native American oppression as well, either in just a conversational sense in full-blow...
The MMO really does have the potential to reach a 3 or 4 mil subscription ceiling if Bioware capitalizes on everything introduced in 1.2. Yes, this is with taking GW2 and a whole heap of other MMOs into account.
If your ticket reply was the correct email tied in with your amazon.com account, then yes.
He practically spent a lifetime trying to ascertain what women want. I couldn't imagine the brain teaser he'd be thinking in this case: "What do men playing as women in videogames really want?"
:P
You're missing the entire point of this deal by using that comparison. This was never meant to be cheaper, this was meant to LOOK cheaper. It's the same "foot in the door" tactic employed by mortgage comps, used car salesmen, and more across the globe. Are you ever curious how much more you'll be paying for that new car over time instead of paying upfront?
Let's not have a myopic view into thinking EVERYONE who decides to go after this deal is an ...
Mincraft wiki website: "4J Studios confirmed that it has all the features of the Minecraft PC version Beta 1.6.6."
I'm not sure what this means, since I haven't played the PC version of Minecraft, but that's the closest I could find in regards to your edit.
*facepalm* I can't believe how many times I misspell a word like "Jimquisition" wrong. I need to beat myself up for this (can't edit older news submissions).
:P
I'd like to thank those who voted for my review and hope everyone enjoyed it :). If you're still unsure about putting $60 down for ME3-at this point, I'd recommend diving into the other user reviews and certain critical ones like...I think Gamespot covered it pretty well. Congrats to all other winners!
Word from the wise that I heard long ago: Never say you're poor, just broke.
"Broke" just implies your disposable income whereas "poor" implies a lower sense of well-being, general attitude, etc.
SWTOR's Endgame off the top of my head:
- 3 different tiers of 50 PVP armor with 4 warzones.
- Dailies that spread across 3 different planets
- 3 different 8-man/16-man operations (raids) that have different difficulty settings (norm, hard, nightmare)
- Quests tied in with challenging world bosses
Feel free to tell me how a ~6 month old MMO with this much content is lacking in end game. There's a suf...
