While I thank you for taking the time to genuinely criticize what I've submitted, you're putting a bit too much stock in what's essentially an intentionally inane review title. You only have to scroll down to the third paragraph to get some clue as to what I like about the fish+bird love dynamic. There's a lot of interesting interpretive stuff about that. And I hope to see you chime in with what deeper meanings you saw with the game.

Although I haven't gotten that far in it, if you're in the mood for some kind of games about tunnels and seeing psychedelic things, I'd recommend the PSN game Dyad. It actually does more to build upon its gameplay in the first collection of stages than the whole campaign+challenges here. I'm mildly tempted to review that in the coming future (not quite sure ...
While I do agree with some of those noted improvements, I certainly can't stand behind the "better story" part. Both 2 + 3, though still fine in their own right, really couldn't beat 1's structure.
Plus, I think it's fair to consider just what kind of ambition the team had with the first ME: the idea of having this galactic map, charting off into the unknown, and exploring numerous planets with the Mako. It...almost felt like playing Cpt. Kirk ve...
You're definitely not the only one without worry for BF; however, a word like "a ton" rather than "an ounce" would more be closer to what many are feeling. There's simply so much stripped out of here since BFII that even a shameless SW fanboy like me isn't even considering purchasing this one until it I see a hefty price drop.
Edit: And I can't help but feel that I've lost a bit of enthusiasm for the series overall in games because so...
I'm honestly a bit surprised with that sentiment. Within the first year + 1/4 of Xbox 360's launch, we'd already seen the technology + advancements in online capabilities do some wonderful things. The likes of Condemned: Criminal Origins, GRAW, Gears of War, Dead Rising, and Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion are just some of the early examples that really affected me.
Now? While I can't deny having a good time with some AAA/indie titles, it just seems to pale i...
You got three of the capitalized letters right. Replace the 'G' with a 'T' and you may be right. Bizarro GOTY is also acceptable; in fact, maybe that's a better name for it.
Nevertheless, it's tough to say for sure with '14 games but it's definitely in the running. The likes of Duck Dynasty and Escape Dead Island are currently in the running too. :P
You lucky dog. :P
In some cases, it can just be fun to laugh at how terrible they are; such is the special case with Ride to Hell: Retribution. This one, however, doesn't fall under that category.

Was tempted to do the opposite in ups/downs segment here as I did with Brothers: Only get 3 Downs to choose from. :P
Throw in the next episode of Life Is Strange for good measure. ;)
Same here. Haven't had much luck with the recent "artsy-fartsy" titles I've recently tried and hope to see this one deliver.
Decided to pick this one up thanks in no small part to the people I've asked not really knowing much about it, or may not have played it yet. The current discount was nice too.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on it.
^That could work really well with TF2's hypothetical campaign. Epic jetpack-oriented chase scenes, crazy boss fights, there's some great opportunities with this foundation.
My feelings on that are similar, though leaning much more towards focusing on MP. While I seem to be in the minority here, I appreciated the subtle ways they contextualized play within the MP. If they just tried to refine that approach (the exposition during hectic battles being the glaring issue) and add some kind of TF codex equivalent, that could make the MP+story dynamic much more interesting.
And it seems strange to notice the rising frustration of wanting SP back in...
Yeah, as nice as the new setting was the rules still feel really cheap. I always dreaded going into the small rooms with a generator that only had one exit. You just know that stupid girl's waiting to pounce on you around those corners as you start flipping on the last couple of generators. Not to mention Slenderman's stupid tag-teaming.
He decided to take out the o since it went over 100 character limit with it.
O_o
Is it now? tbh never really noticed that with my cheap-o speakers and/or laptop's noise level lowered. I'll be sure to not use that one from now on. Here's a better one:

Anyways...congrats to rest of winners...and I'm not just saying that. :P
Although I haven't gotten around to playing the Amnesia games (which I'm excited to try out in the near future), that's sort of the impression I got from seeing that comparison.
Yeah, wasn't meant to be taken seriously. Just a mixture of a running joke in a youtube video on Entwined + the redundant full title Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons. No problem. :P
Underrated FPS, you say? Pretty tough to come by at least within the critic reviewing culture of the past generation (though that's started to soften a bit now). Heck...I can be unapologetically easygoing on them in some respects. Anyways...
