Yes, it does come too early as a way to introduce the teaching mechanics early on in the game. Wish it couldve been done better.

It all depends on which console actually maintains its momentum past 3 years. Even the PS4 didn't outpace the Wii until 3 years in when the wii dropped off, meanwhile the PS4 held strong.
Its funny, when it was first announced i was hyped, then the bad press and apparent downgrades made my expectations so low that when i played it i thought it was alright.
If the singleplayer portion of the game launched with the xbone, it would've been a really good launch title. Instead it took 6 years though...
It had some hype behind it when it was announced, but i think by 2017 it became apparent that something was seriously wrong with development.
Remedy was never an exclusive developer for MS.

The Lite will have limited appeal outside japan, if anything the upgraded battery base unit will slow switch sales temporarily.
The Lite may slow sales in Japan but it will open the floodgates once its out.
Thats kind of a staple of mario party. They used to be BS in a fun way though. They need to make another MP thats like 1-8.

As someone that buys physical and digital, their storage solution is actually not bad for me. You dont need to install physical switch games (outside of partial installs) so a 256GB card is more than enough. An XB1X comes with 1TB of storage but thats only good for 10-15 games, and a decent hard drive will cost way more than microSD’s that are constantly on sale.
When the Switch Lite comes out it will blow up in Japan. Switch could easily surpass 3DS numbers in the end. This is a big deal for console development in Japan since the Switch, as a hybrid, will provide a safe install base.
I mean couldnt they just enable Kinect support on the xbone?
Either way this isnt a huge loss. I never knew of the feature in Until Dawn and even though i enjoy the atmosphere and game i never really jumped and found it that scary.

That may be so, but people pushing for any set benchmark for single player games are indeed being kind of childish.
Its the reason great games like say Alien Isolation are obviously brought down by being overlong to hit that “18-20 hour” length.

I have to wonder if people are factoring in the fact that this game is $29.99. If you do the buddy pass and split it with a friend its 20 apiece.
Maybe the game is that bad - but it certainly doesnt look that bad to me.
