I remember 3 having terrible slowdown too.
I thought the campaign was bad. You kill robots the first 2-3 hours. Who the hell wants to kill robots in Gears?
The multiplayer is fantastic. Its hard to get back into after a long break though.
Maybe 720/60
I probably only play my switch 10% of the time in handheld mode. But when i use it, man is it nice to play in bed.
This kinda crap makes me miss ol Jack Thompson. Yeah he was an annoying puritan, but at least he didnt actually influence the industry.
Its not game breaking, but I do think the game would feel more like an actual WW2 game if it had accurate flags.
For me it just feels better to play. Ever since the new version came out (the cross platform version) it just doesnt feel right. The aesthetics look worse and the sound.
I seriously doubt RDO has the same monetary potential as GTA:O though. Idk what they could do to make people come back. I think single player content like Undead Nightmare would be more profitable
Gaben is richer than President Trump
Well from mine, its a compact, quiet console that offers the best resolutions and graphics between the consoles out right now. I also love that it upscales my old games going back 2 generations. Its the only console where i can put in my copy of Ninja Gaiden Black or Fallout 3 and play it at 4K.
Even has 4k bluray playback which is oddly missing from ps4 pro. Not a big deal but nice to have.
MS usually sucks at hardware, but the X is really a well made ma...
Its gonna come to switch. People will keep downvoting for whatever reason but if Atlus wants a portable version of P5 (and theyve made one for every game since 3) then the Switch is the only platform that makes sense. They already scaled the game down for the ps3.
The vita is pretty much on its last leg even in Japan and would take considrerably more effort to port to.
I think its a winning bet tbh.
Who would commit to a year of gamepass? I just buy a month of it every couple months when something good comes along. MH World most recently.
Id argue Mankind Divided was his vision realized in terms of open world RPG mechanics. The plot just wasnt there.
No, its safe to assume they’ll name it something more than “Xbox” lol. Not sure how you gathered that.
No ones forcing them to buy new hardware. Hardcore gamers that buy a $500 console will still be buying a system with 6-8 years of support. Its not like Sega inflating the market with consoles because all consoles will run on x86 and receive support until its no longer feasible.
The general consumer isnt that dumb, people understood the X’s purpose and a...
Bold prediction:
Microsoft said theyre abandoning the generational model. Expect a new xbox every 4 years. It will launch at a premium price and keep going down until its the base Xbox model.
In other words, no new xbox til 2021. The X will become their main platform and if necessary, will receive exclusive games over the base xbone. I know MS said they wouldnt do this, but if the X can run “9th gen” games, it would be simply a waste for them not to make ...
Its a fun game. I found myself utilizing the physics system to sequence break/go places i wasnt supposed to go yet. Also the way the agency propaganda takes over as you tick off objectives is really cool. It gives a visual feedback to your progress.
Honestly, id rather play crackdown 3 for its mindless fun than most modern games banal sameyness
It’ll probably be no more L4D than Evolve was.
@segata
To be fair that game was firmly in development hell. The original 360/ps3 version looked awesome.
Between DOA and the NG games its fair to say Itagaki knows how to make a solid game
With that chipset could it have hit that legendary $199 at launch though? I think the relatively cheap price is a big reason the DC saw such early success.
@Rude-ro
I’ve heard nothing to suggest Infinite is a Destiny clone. I dont think weve seen hardly anything at all outside of the trailer.
I think after Anthem and the fizzling out of Destiny 1 & 2 MS wouldnt hedge their bets on a Destiny clone. That would be the nail in Halo’s coffin.
