Ok, this is an issue that i think gamers are misinformed on. Have you noticed an increase in prices? No. Because the Chinese government knows they need to weather the storm by footing the bill on the tariff taxes on Chinese businesses, or else sales will decline and tank their industries. In other words, China's government is paying the tariff because they have no choice. Not chinese businesses, and not the US consumer.

On gamepass you can download from the list of available games, but you don't own them. It's basically netflix, you only have access to those games so long as you have Gamepass. But, you can buy games that are on gamepass for a discount. Once you buy a game, its yours regardless of whether or not you have gamepass. I usually buy a month of gamepass whenever they offer it up for a dollar and try to remember to cancel before the next charge.
Disagree, its not oversaturation, games just aren't as good as they used to be imo. I thought i was just jaded but when i go back and play older classics, they feel much more innovative and inspired than all the games these days. RE 2 Remake and DMC 5 are two games that take me back to those days.

None of the resident evil plots are good. Some deliver their story more artfully than others (REmake and 7) but none of the RE's old or new have great stories.
I think their remake series takes those old campy plots and tries to modernize them without twisting what made them appealing. I could see them retelling RE 4 with more ambience and a darker tone and it being much better from a narrative perspective.

There are hardly any third party exclusives on switch. The Mario + Rabbids game, Astral Chain is coming up... that's all i can think of. SMT 5 and Bayo 3 haven't even been seen in action. Octopath Traveler was successful but came to PC this year.
The one on Wii U is universally considered the worst one. This one is quite good.
Yeah - i dont think he understands what expanding the market means. The wii was the first console for a lot of people, it definitely expanded the market.

It may look different but i think at the heart of the design it is more resident evil than 4, 5 or 6.
The game was made in japan but written by the FEAR guy, but it still feels like a western take on a typical RE story imo.
