Lol whats up with the disagrees.
"I would have to disagree, a game improving is a bad thing."
The truth is, the tech for good VR is very expensive at the moment, how many people are willing to pay just as much as a console for a piece of tech with limited support? They probably don't see it as a financially viable thing to dump millions of research on.
This is totally different than the twitch thing, which is regularly used by millions. VR is still a big question mark.
But how do either of those flesh out into full-on 60 dollar games? They both look fun for about 5 minutes or something we would expect to see in Nintendoland 2.
It definitely is, i think the reason DKCTF didnt give a hardware boost is because anyone who wanted it already owned the system for one of the umpteen other platformers.
Oh, didnt realize he had anything to do with that. Thanks for info.
I love the guy but those tech demos were really underwhelming. I'm confused because all this time we thought he was working on a new IP.
I've said this in a blog before, but the PS3 and Wii U comparisons make sense to me in a different way:
It was a time that both companies made some serious mistakes and the fans needed to voice their concern to improve the quality of the system. What i'm saying is, the Wii U's failure is an opportunity more than anything. An opportunity to show unwavering dedication to satisfying fans to attract new ones. When fans started to jump to Xbox and many complained about...
@Darkstares
He's saying he doesn't care either way whether it has an optional female protagonist, but the fact that it lacks one doesn't mean that Ubisoft is "sexist" by any means.
Words like sexism and misogyny are tossed around like nothing when they literally mean HATRED of women and desire to repress them, and their exclusion isn't inherentally such like some sites try to make it out to be.
C'mon man, this is horse crap we're talking about. I'm buying this game for this feature alone.
Uggghhhhh xD
News: Konami surpasses EA in horse shit output.
Edit:
...Oh wow, im embarassed xD.
Lol i thought about what i said and felt confused and re-read... Wow my first paragraph is mistyped... My apologies haha. Havent been sleeping much and my mind wandered and my fingers were but vessels to spew insomniac flubs!
What i meant to say is while Ubisoft is inching further in that direction, i cant help but feel the idiocy of psuedo western politics affects a lot of these companies negatively.
Nice blog. I have to say Ubisoft is only inching closer to the likes of EA and Capcom in the ranks of consumer distrust and unfavorability... to be swayed by the western psuedo-politics of gaming is only a sign of increasing weakness :l
Side note: wouldn't the gramatically correct title be "A Ubisoft Tale" since Ubisoft has a consonant sound? Like "a unilateral decision" or "a university" as opposed to "an uptown area" or "an ...
I can't say i'm seeing much of a difference in the way Reggie talks because they've never really experienced long term failure in the time he worked there until now.
But i find your accusation of them not/barely listening to be a little bit extreme. If they don't have plans to make a remake of Majora's Mask its not them flipping off fans, more likely that dev team working on something else and them not willing to halt progress on that project for a remake....
@Abizzel
A bowser game? What?! They have plenty of action: Bayonetta 2, Hyrule Warriors, Devil's Third and RPG's: Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem, Monster hunter, and Xenoblade X... that's just what's announced. Also i think we will see new ip's soon... splatoon is a fun start and them testing the waters.
@Madock
Good grief man, that's the most ridiculous thing i've ever read. I certainly think Nintendo could s...
Nintendo has always had trouble providing a consistent stream of software to their console and handheld,
With one hybrid console that's a solution.
The only reason i could see them rejecting this idea is the smaller profit return... one console would have to be really successful to beat the revenue of two.
@above
You're wrong too. The Wonderful 101 was a game Platinum approached Nintendo to make. Originally Platinum wanted it with Nintendo IP's but Kamiya decided otherwise. To say Nintendo were the ones to invent TW101, an amalgamation of everything Kamiya himself has ever made, is even logically wrong. Also, if Fatal Frame 4, 2 wii edition, and Spirit Camera are anything to go by Nintendo DOES own the rights as part of the publishing deal.
Nintendo ow...
What makes you say that? Nintendo bought the rights to TW101 and Bayonetta 2 and now MS did the same for scalebound.
Originally Bayonetta was to be 360 exclusive, but that follows the trend of many japanese devs like capcom who felt the ps3 had an uncertain future.
The guy made Resident Evil 2 and Okami which were both once playstation exclusive.
Capcom wanted to focus development on one console. I think nintendo should just buy a wii u exclusive MH developed from the ground up... ports arent going to sell the system. But mh3u is a very good game.
@NewMonday
He probably has the tools to set up camera angles. I think the part in the field is actual gameplay and the rest is either a cutscene or pre rendered.
Hey, another decent week for Wii U and MK8.
Its really unusual to see MS playing caboose in the territory they dominated last gen. At least xbone software sales are pretty good for the low install base.
