Im still confused with the multiplayer, like how many players are there online?
I liked all three showings, but the Xbone and PS4 just dont have enough exclusive or even next gen exclusive content for me to buy one until next year. I prefer to buy a console when i have at least 5 games that interest me on the shelves.
Ps4: Infamous, No Man's Sky, Drive club, maybe Killzone, Resogun and some good indies
Xbone: Dead rising 3, Crackdown, Phantom Dust, Sunset Overdrive, i would say Scalebound if it werent so far off, less good indies tha...
@modesign
Their software almost always returns a big profit, but it cant do so until the game arrives on shelves. They've also been making tech aquisitions and heavy advertising that'll only benefit in the long run.
Its important to note that SPENDING money is not the same as losing it.
Companies have to spend money to make money.
Why is it that everyone must be part of this "xbox/playstation fanboy" hivemind. "Xbox fanboys" didnt start these comparisons, sites like Digital Foundry and Lens of truth did.
There are those that care about superior performace on multiplats, and there are those that care about exclusives and see the former as just a bonus. I dont see the same people on n4g who boasted about better multiplats last gen on here backtracking, i see them either shutting up or switchin...
Its just a return to gamecube days, they published Geist and Eternal Darkness back then and did a deal with capcom for those resident evil games.
They've already published more M-rated content this gen than last lol...
This one made me laugh from its sheer randomness, lol...
I'm scared to know what ND do on PS5 o_o....
It's not so much that they don't want to make console/handheld games... like many Japanese developers they are almost forced to the mobiles because of increasingly large development costs on consoles and diminishing returns.
Mistwalker's financial status has been in question for a while, i wouldn't be surprised if their moneymaker is something on a mobile with "from the creator of Final Fantasy" plastered on the cover.
Edit: The rea...
I don't want to sound defensive, but it's more the 360's lack of sales in Japan that caused those games to sell poorly. Americans play more than COD, they just don't play JRPG's.
Sakaguchi doesn't work for Square Enix, he isn't in the position to make a FF7 remake. He's been making his own RPG's with his own company, Mistwalker.
They didn't lose 5.3 billion (over half their money) in 2 years. I think we would've heard about that. Companies have to spend money to make money, this is how the business world words. In total assets its 13 billion vs 16 billion, a big drop but nothing catastrophic.
I thought the same. I bought it a few years back and could not get into it at all.
Then i got to the arcade lol...
The last report from nintendo was 6.17 million, with the sales since then and the mario kart 8 boost it's around 6.5 im guessing. Still selling fairly well too.
The best thing PS4 has coming this year is LBP3, which is also on ps3. Both consoles have meh holiday line ups but xbox one has MCC and Sunset Overdrive which are both at least exclusives.
2 million on a AAA game in less than a month while still retaining a top position in sales is an uncommon occurence.
The closest next gen comparison is Watch_Dogs on PS4 which has sold around the same on a userbase that's about 2 million bigger.
Comment's taken a bit out of context in the headline, but whatever.
Gamecube really was a great example of how to build a system. It was small, it was powerful, it was cheap and theyre very durable. Only thing it needed was a better disc format.
I think the results of the developers' hard work shows well on the system regardless of its comparatively weak power. Bayonetta 2, Smash and MK8 all look very nice.
Gotta love that one guy asking Nintendo themselves how e3 went... who invests in a company and doesnt note the outcome of one of the biggest shows of the year.
I mean i know theyre in Japan but still.
Wow, that must be a large percentage of digital sales. These are insane numbers for such a small userbase.
Edit: did they seriously bring up the iQue? I barely even remember that thing.
That isnt to say he begged MS or Nintendo either...
From what i understand Platinum approached Nintendo with the concept of TW101, then as development progressed on that Nintendo revived Bayonetta 2.
According to cboat MS "moneyhatted" Platinum for Scalebound.
Im glad to see Platinum on a pedastal lately, a lot of companies vying for their games, their making a Legend of Korra now for Activision as well. Sony would be doing well to ...
I think its obvious that NextLevel is either Maria H. or a Maria H. copycat. Both of them provide an excessive amount of links and both go out of their way to troll Xbone.
On topic, i think its great a title like this can hit 1080p, horror games need that full level of detail and immersion. I just hope they give Alien the game it's always deserved.
Edit: Here's my argument, every console has something to offer. In the end they will all have a excell...
