Yeah MK8 is on a whole other level than either of those series in terms of popularity. This is to be expected.
I am eager to see the Smash bros boost though. That's a different demographic than the one MK appeals to. Im worried that it'll come out TOO close to the holidays.
@RDR
Exactly. It's very easy to disparage something that you never plan on purchasing. In a lot of ways it's like criticizing a restaraunt you've never eaten at. It might not be for everyone, but you have to understand that the experience of actually going there is everything and you might actually enjoy it.
Have to disagree with you. When someone displays a fanatical devotion and refuses to accept legitimate (relevant to topic) criticism of a company, that makes them a fanboy. I see the term as more accusatory than defensive (although many use it as the latter).
For example, i am a fan of the Xbox brand but i will wholly admit that MS' only recently handling their fanbase properly after the past few years of negligence. While I dislike the company, i don't see it as a re...
Why not both...
On topic this is a flamebait headline.
Even if that was all he did (you're forgetting his contributions to hardware development, pikmin, the very fundamentals of game design) that would give him more of a right than anyone else to say this. While Nintendo themselves are part of the problem... look at what's coming out this year guys. We're getting the millionth entry in COD, BF, AC, and a bunch of HD remakes. How many instances in the 6th gen and before did a series get more than a few entries? Now all these companies ...
Oh my god, i thought i was the only one.
Just that gentle scraping against the paint does it for me. Happy little clouds...
Well i just set it in the stand and play stuff like Super mario RPG and REmake with a classic controller. I dont think playing waggly games or ones that require you to point at the sensor bar are ideal.
@kingdom
The 360 and ps3 have wide profit margins, i think its very possible that the ps4 could have BC with ps3 for 500-550 bucks with very minimal loss. Thats with direct hardware, if it was emulated it would be even cheaper.
Theres really no reason nintendo shouldnt include BC because they use the same architecture between wii and wii u and the wii costs peanuts to manufacture.
Lol i was being sarcastic xD
/s! SLASH S!
Im one of them, i think it's a horrible thing that you're getting what you've wished for, so i disagreed.
Those Xbone numbers are not BAD, but they needed to be higher given the price drop. That's not accounting for typical vgchartz shenanigans.
I find it strange that the week after the price drop more xbox ones were sold than the week where the price drop debuted.
Not a fan of 3D world but i get its appeal.
You're english are fine man :)
Most people on this site don't. I've always drawn a strict line between what is my belief and fact. My " favorite" games of all time and "best" games of all time are two very different lists, as they should be. As for Nintendo's e3, i've said before that i thoroughly enjoyed it. To say they had no presence at e3 when they livestreamed totally new footage of like 10 games coming out soon over the course of 3 days, is not an opinion but a factually incorrect ...
Wow, that's a surprise. I guess the MK8 boost and recent public perception of Nintendo is changing investor's perception of him.
Keeping in mind the atrocious wii u sales all this year, that's the only reason his rating could go up.
@maniac
True, but it's still annoying. Sony and MS at e3 was like a exclusive content/timed DLC slap fight.
Just because they have a different opinion doesn't mean they're haters.
I know right? Lily Bergamo looked very interesting.
This just looks nothing like a Suda51 game and on top of it all, it's free to play.
Yahtzee already said this but it seems like Suda is becoming less and less involved with games with his name plastered on them.
It has very gratuitous sexual humor but it's a genuinely funny game with a lot of character development and heart put into it. Plus its tons of fun and very complex combat.
Im not sure how many of you guys imported Fatal Frame 4, but it also had goofy Nintendo costumes xP including zero suit samus.

Uhh, Dreamcast had pretty decent third party support outside of the lack of EA. Capcom, namco, etc. made a ton of dreamcast games. I mean the dreamcast got like 600+ games in under 3 years on the market, that's nuts.
It honestly had better support than the gamecube, wii or wii u but obviously the industry is much different in 1999 than it is now. The main reason it got so many games was because sega had a very low licensing fee and Nintendo's is still quite high.
