Unfortunately Bruce_Wayne I'm just wondering why what will be an 18 month old game is giving some idiots on here reason to troll PC gamers who have been playing it for that long?
What on earth are console gamers bragging about is really my point. Yay we're getting a game that's been out for ages on PC and it runs on max settings which really isn't any sort of achievement these days. A year ago, maybe that's a big deal. But it isn't a year ago and the g...
Isn't this game like a year old already and will be at least 18 months by the time it hits PS4?
Why are console gamers going mad that a brand new £350 console can run a free to play 18 month old massively multiplayer PC game designed for a wide variance of PC specs at max settings? Then pretending as if that is some sort of triumph?
It's not like the game is hard to run on max anymore.
The trolling in here of PC gamers is ridicul...
I doubt he is talking about the PC version. Who tests and runs the PC version in 720p? Why on a modern PC would performance be so crippled it would run badly at only 720p?
Although it is only rumoured, it seems fairly evident that the console versions are going to run the game at 720p maximum including Xbox One. It only really makes any sense if you take the article and comment to mean the console versions.
Azmatik what are you talking about? You don't know.
Minimum requirements are very low end on PC. Core 2 Duo and 8800 in fact.......It isn't targeted for high end hardware. Its designed to run on slow old configurations as well as modern systems. That usually limits what you can do.
The fact it runs on PS3 says enough, its no more a true next gen game than any other of these ports.
Seems you don't know what you are talking about. ...
They look pretty similar, PC definitely edge it for sharpness of image quality and some textures however it is likely the stream quality.
It's not this is some amazing thing though. It already runs in some form on PS3- it has roots that lie in previous generation console hardware.
It hardly looks amazing on PC and it runs really easily on pretty weak PC hardware. You can run it on a 6 years old Core 2 Duo machine with a Geforce 8800GT.
I ...
Sorry bitbyDeath you make me laugh a bit though when you think the consoles are closer than ever to Pc performance.
They in fact have never been further away. Not in the sense where new consoles used to be able to compete with high end PCs being built as the new consoles launched.
Xbox one is pitifully slow compared to a midrange PC for any multiplatform you care to mention now and into the near future.
PS4 is better but it still has no real ...
I doubt it will look better than the PC version, or run at the high framerates and resolutions I enjoyed on the PC version many moons ago. PS4 might manage 1080p and 30FPS but if it does then the Xbox One version will probably be turned down and less than 1080p.
Tis a good way of getting money out of console gamers but when you can get the PC version for about 6 or 7 pounds then its pretty much an irrelevance to PC gamers.
Its more for those wanting to step u...
It is at least staying true to their promise of TV. Why actually play the new Halo or Gears on the Xbox One games console when you can just sit and watch it requiring no effort or interaction at all?
Frankly this is genius and the next logical step for gaming.
I'm glad Microsoft are investing absolutely millions into this instead of putting it into exclusive games. That dedicated singular focus of vision is inspiring.
Seriously though, wh...
What this tells me is that if Sony just beat Microsoft for launch on their home turf where Sony have been pulped the past 5 years, what are the figures going to look like elsewhere in Europe, and eventually Asia, traditional Sony strongholds?
Rather rosy market share for PS4 one must imagine.
It's called spin blacktar, spin.
PS4 sold out and sold out faster.
Because of this huge selling out of the stock on launch weekend, the numbers of consoles sold for PS4 simply couldn't increase too much the weeks after. It's sales average per day declines every day, because there aren't any more machines left to sell!
Sony sold more PS4's on launch weekend than Microsoft sold for its entire first week, in the USA, in Micro...
You aren't forced to choose what to believe, that's kind of the point of belief, you believe what you want not what people make you.
Why do you think people believe that Xbox One is as powerful as PS4 even when there is quantifiable proof it is not?
Because they can......;D
The format clearly needs a bit of a revamp as well let's face it. GT7 needs to be made for PS4 ground up, with everything shiny and next gen, and a bit of new perspective in the team to focus on what really matters in this genre.
I think it is unlikely it is also 1080p on Xbox One, not least of all because it was not mentioned....
It'll probably be sub 1080p, maybe 900p again or something like it
We hardly saw any gameplay, what I saw of it was hardly 'fantastic' because there wasn't remotely enough to judge on! Probably would have learnt more about the gameplay had they just released a couple dozen screenshots.
I'm not getting too hyped because I did for Alan Wake and it turned out really disappointing.
It ended up looking nothing like as good as the first reveal at the Intel developer conference, stuck in development hell for years...
"Jesse, you asked me if I was in the meth business or the money business. Neither. I'm in the GAMING business"
-Walter White
Ahh but it is 'slight' like the power difference between the consoles?
(as in, way bigger than some people would want you to believe)
Lindsay Lohan WISHES she looked as good as that character
Assassins creed 4 looks way better too.
PS4 blatantly has better resolution.
PS4 can do more at more resolution. Xbone multiformat titles will never have parity if the developer pushes PS4
"There’s no reason why you can’t have an extremely powerful game console that also does entertainment"
A crushingly amusing statement considering their focus on entertainment as they call it directly led to designing their machine with considerably inferior graphics hardware compared to their direct, cheaper rival.
