If ps3 fans are anything to go by, then the ps3 already is the best value/price, because of everything it includes with it.

The idea postulated by the article that "most people who buy arcades experience buyers remorse" is really just ps3-fanboy babble.
In fact, for $199 you can play some pretty damn amazing games for a fantastic price. For the well informed consumer, the arcade is AWESOME value!
On the other hand, consider the poor guy who bought a $400 PS3 and then has to watch as the '$199 360' guy gets all the best multiplats.

I am looking forward to seeing how cryteks cryengine3 will run on the ps3 compared to the 360.
My guess is there will be very minor differences, but mostly they'll be identical, except for the obligatory ps3 quincunx blur.
Thus, if no one has maxed the ps3, wouldn't this speculative result imply that the same is true for the 360?

Thanks for setting the record straight with that report.
As can be seen in said report, the ps3 is still, undeniably, losing Sony billions of yen.
I shudder to think how many more billions of yen we can add to that figure once sony drop the price on ps3 hardware.

Yeah it's very sad to see the ps3 bloggers take numbers out of context and promote a false headline just to get hits from the desperado ps3 die-hards.
Why didn't they use the accurate 360 attach rate of 8.6?
Why did they seek to inflate the PS3 numbers by including psn downloads?
The truth is, the Ps3 attach rate, even with slowing console sales, isn't matching the 360's attach rate, even with its increased console sales.
The ps3 has its usual vaseline/quincunx blur applied.
Apart from that, they look very much the same.
