I enjoyed playing as James Heller. For what was presented about him, he had a fair motive and justifiable anger. But in the bigger picture, his selection within the Prototype Universe for being given powers and what happens with his daughter is so random it's just like "Why him?" in terms of story and purpose. There is an attempt to explain things but Heller is more like a guy who was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I'm not so sure about that. Locking out the used games market would take some sort of method that possibly interfere with the simple things console gamers saw as a plus for console gaming which would be renting, borrowing, or to take a game to a friends house and just pop it in and play (that's slowly ending already). How would something like that be distinguished officially from a used game changing hands? I think it will drive more gamers to a PC in search of replacement freedoms in...

Big companies love for the government to enforce licensing regulations against consumers and what we're allowed to do with the product we bought in favor of business but they raise hell when government regulations are leveled against what they can do in the name of consumer rights and safety.

We just don't have any bargaining power in a way that doesn't involve just walking away individually. We trade away our money with no strings attached, and in return we recei...

I feel like I would be failed in a story writing class if I wrote in the element of "the little boy from Mass Effect". That single element felt too oddly forced into the story as important as the wanted to make it. I think that is a fair criticism.

It definitely was better than XIII, but that's not a high standard though. What stood out to me was that the villain seem to be the most focused and in control villain since FFVII. Not to mention the overall music composition in my opinion was better than anything since FFX.

It's just the gameplay that did it in for me. The city of Academia looked great but could have been so much more interactive.

Although I was really disappointed in the way it ends, or ways it could end, maybe that was part of the point. No matter what choices you made, the ending was just a matter of inevitability and that there are forces in the universe that are just bigger than the great Commander Shepherd that would force him/her down to the very same options in the end.

Lol... I can see it now, add credit card and deposit $1 to add a second player or more. We wouldn't want other family members to join in on the fun for free now would we?

I never really enjoyed FPS games until they started actually having decent looking environments. IF they really want to do FPS they could do it MGS4 style and make it an aiming mode in addition to full TPS, or the usual Over the Shoulder.

So many people felt that Dead Space was a revival of horror in games. I wouldn't completely discount what they could do in first person.

I haven't gone hands on with those other examples. In Skyrim, being a werewolf came in handy once or twice at a low level. But eventually it's useless. You can't use your magic/potions/weapons/armor/bl ocking and you can't heal. So go up against a group of armored warriors, mages, or archers at a formidable level and you're going to have some trouble.

I like being able to take a break from a game and come back later knowing there is more to do. I just took a small break for Assassin's Creed:R (not finished yet) and Saint's Row 3 (Finished and had a great time). Now back to Skyrim until new games come out next Jan/Feb.

My laptop with an HD5650 runs it excellently on High. No framerate issues when tons of things are occuring at once. I was surprised but seriously applaud the developers for making a game that is beyond great looking for an open world design and is well enough optimized to run on modest setups without falling back to low settings.

It's clear their Multiplayer efforts distracted them in some way. I don't understand how they forgot the movie replay section, and the unlockable skins, weapons, and gameplay perks for the Single Player campaign. That was fundamental to the package of the last two Uncharted games. The treasures actually earned you something.

But I guess it's more profitable to sell muliplayer skins rather than make them available to be unlocked through gameplay for single player....

I like my games as a product that is to be purchased and owned by me rather than a usable service that is owned and provided by them.

I had the opportunity to cure my character yesterday. I was undecided and ultimately choose not to for the time being.

As fun of a game that was, I think people still wanted more shambling zombies instead of parasite infected villagers and cultists.

It's been awhile since I played a DBZ game. I will gamefly this and keep it if I like it. Looks promising enough since I haven't played a DBZ game since PS2.

This is completely disregarding the price structure though. There are some PCs from 2009 that really suck, and are not even meant for gaming. Consoles will have their place, but the PC platform is meant for those who want flexibility with the option to buy a setup that struggles to run a 1080p video, or a PC with high specs they won't even fully use for the next year or so.

Unfortunately, I don't know of any other similar military shooters that are better for single player gamers than than BF3 & MW3.

True, but I think some is his WWE fame brought some fans to UFC. If anything, Dana White probably figures having Lesnar in a WWE game is a good as free advertisment for the image of one of his fighters. If anyone doesn't know who Lesnar is or forgot about him and sees him in the game then decides to wonder and search for where is he now. It won't take long to follow the dots to UFC.
