It would be nice to know that you get EVERYTHING the game has to offer right out of the box on day one, and not miss out on content or experience a delay of it just because you pre-ordered at the wrong store or bought it for the wrong console.
The game is pretty good. Quite different for a Rockstar game with everything being episodic. The narrative is good and strong but unlike the GTA games or Red Dead Redemption, the player really doesn't get to really live in the world and get to know it much. At least as far as I've played, you never go to Phelps' home and you don't do any off duty activities. Those aren't really bad things, just an interesting change in gameplay, and unexpected for what I expected from a Ro...
I wasn't as overwhelmed by the faces as I thought I would be. At some points the do look amazing but they went out of the way to make people's faces super expressive to show off the technique. As a consequence when people are moving their faces really fast I can't help but see normal mapping textures sliding/fading all over and around their faces rather than actual skin folding and wrinkling. It's definitely a step forward though.
I can say that I can certainly look at it your way, after all I did get the theory banged into my head but I kept my own opinion that never left.
It's for the very reasons that you stated that makes Minimalist art a valid art form that thrives to this day. Especially in business which takes it into the thought science of using basic art for recognition and manipulation using the understanding of human response to shapes and colors. Not only conveying a message but sublim...
I'm a student of art and found my favorites in classical oil paintings that looked so true to life. The Da Da and minimalist art came across to me like a social reprogramming by artists with no talent using basic elements of art and convincing people that Less = More. I refuse to accept it, the truth is More = More, and Less = Less. If you like less then fine just call it less but don't lie and call it more. LOL... this bothered me so much in school.
I like incredible...
I wonder if this could ever be perceived wrong? Essentially they place a $10 value on the online portion of the game. That leaves $50 of value for the single player portion. Would gamers who buy from retail feel ripped off when single player only games still come at $60, since it's like paying for a day one online pass but not getting online mode?
You mean to say that on "some" PCs it has "the potential" to run in game
Those politicians, oil companies, and banks are targets of hackers as well. Smaller developers just don't invest as much in online security. Kids with too much time have to start somewhere before growing into a hardened corporate hacker. Definitely unfortunate but that's the nature of the internet freedom that we seek to protect. Even the little guy needs tools of defense.
Now that was funny! Soon-y Delaystation?
I'm still enjoying my PS3 offline in addition to PC gaming. Next week I'm going to forget about PSN even more...PS3 version of LA Noire and The Witcher 2 on PC this tuesday.
Gift and curse of capitalism. If the small businesses can't find their niche with a solid business plan, why do they deserve to exist? Are they simply entitled to our business just because they want to make money?
Essentially Sony did engage in a war of sorts. And one of the biggest mistakes they made was not knowing the enemy.
The whole "war on hackers" could turn into something like a "war on terror" eventually. It's a war that can NEVER be won because it's an obscurely wide range of individuals that are not always working together, but new ones crop up all the time and react more for each offensive that is seen. Time and money will be wasted, the banner o...
I think some people get the impression that professionals just kind of know how long it will take to get something done and can confidently give a date and meet the deadline. Your average less than professional Joe would be happy to take up a job and tell you "I'll be done when I'm finished".
Rocksmith does use real guitars as the controller. That's why the deal gives you $25 voucher toward a guitar center guitar.
I don't know how this will work. $25 isn't much for a quality guitar.
Nice idea though. I wonder if non-instrumental players of these kinds of games interested in fumbling with a real guitar and are real guitarists interested in plugging into a video game?
Just because a console could be upgradeable doesn't mean it's a PC. PC's are generally know as the Personal Computer partly because you can personalize and modify it in many ways.
An upgradeable console should still have a strict set of upgradeable hardware options that developers will know can be used. The advantage would be that unlike the PC where all configurations can't possibly be accounted for with all the multi-brand hardware and specs, an upgradeable...
@Soldierone; it sounds like you're looking to have a proper Anderson Silva match. It's hilarious when he puts his hands down just moves his head around while the opponent tries to strike.
You know how everyone likes to talk about where their tax money goes. Well you will undoubtedly have some people making noise about their tax money going paying for the time of government employees to investigate some video games...
Or if you're a few generations older "I don't no pay taxes so my gub'ment can investigate some ol nintendo games!"...lol
The Reapers must have got stuck in traffic.
Okay, there are never a greater number of players on an online server than the number of discs sold at retail, in addition to the number of digital copies sold. So it costs the developers nothing extra to maintain since the gamer who sold their used game will no longer be playing that game online.
It's just about profit, that's all. I have to be fair minded because I believe in the Free Market where gamers have the right to sell their used games. But that also forces ...
Regardless of what us outside of Sony think, there is a good chance that within Sony, the people responsible for making sure these things didn't occur are probably getting an earful. Victims have responsibilities too. That's why police ask victims questions all the time like "Was you door locked?", "Were you wearing your seatbelt?"... And depending on your answers, insurance companies or the trial judge might make you feel like the villain.
More Colony Wars!
