...peer-to-peer or dedicated server?
...the PS3 version. $34 NZ is a $14 more than I'm prepared to spend.
...is not a major as I don't often check the rear view to see whos behind me anyway :)
I hope there is a demo as its the lack of career mode that puts me off most as I'm not the kind of person that will check back every day to unlock a car. However, if the game is fun then I'll definitely consider it.
Wonder how much it will cost in NZ?
...the PSPGo is releasing with FW6.0 or does it feature a slightly different firmware given the clock/calendar and this new pause/save game feature are not available on current PSP models?
...is milking this one. Realistically the PSPGo should have been released at the same price as the current PSP-3000 and the PSP-3000 should have dropped in price by at least 15%.
I was all set for a PSPGo (have a 3000 at present) but in NZ they are charging $499! That's $50 less than a PS3!!!
...it is just more run-n-gun stuff. I loved COD4 but have to admit the footage for MW2 has not won me over yet.
...but have to admit that multiplayer gameplay footage did nothing for me at all. Don't really know why, maybe I have moved on from the whole run-and-gun style of gameplay..
...This is extremely disappointing as GT:PSP is going to land in around the 70-80% region after all the reviews are in. I had been expecting it to be a 90% title!
After reading several reviews I have to admit that the lack of a career mode is just plain stupid but surely this could be patched?
Don't know if I will pick this up now. I love a good racing game but I never find myself venturing towards a "quick race" option.
Maybe it would have ...
I have not been won over by gameplay footage as yet but will make up my mind if they release a demo.
...coming to NZ any time soon. We dont have a video service of any kind as yet. Oh, we do have the same crappy blu-ray trailers since the PS3 was launched but I don't count that as a video service.
...I'm going to be in portable gaming heaven.
This promises to be great on the PSP and I can't wait!
...portable gaming console however, all it needs is games, games and more games. Sony should forget about "minis" in terms of games and just focus on releasing the back catalog of PS1 games at a "mini" price.
"Apps" is what's needed to ensure the PSP offers best possible video and audio playback.
Finally, release more AAA games that exploit the PSP and not make people moan about it only having one analog.
...is just a series of one underwhelming moment after another. Its strictly a rental.
When Sony entered the handheld market they were up against the IPod Video and DS. The playing field has changed considerably since then in regards to what Apple has brought to market.
Sony also dropped the ball with the PSP over the past couple of years in terms of support. PSN should have been hit hard and fast with a lot more PS1 classics 2 years ago when quality new releases started drying up. They should have also opened it up to "mini" support a lot earlier as w...
Sony can't be serious with its proposed launch price. In New Zealand they're asking $499 (NZD). For $50 more you could get a PS3!!!!
Kinda weird, Sony redesigns the PS3 and makes it smaller and sells it for less. They do the same thing with the PSP and the price goes up!
...With the PSPGo about to hit stores I really cant believe Sony did not inject a lot more functionality in the XMB. For instance, playlist support would have been nice!!!
Imagine a policeman directing people away and stating "move along, nothing to see here" and it pretty much sums up this update.
...Apple has been and will continue to be a huge success.
If you sit the Apple ITouch, PSP and DS next to each other then I would have to say that the ITouch has the most "wow" factor - just look at the size of the thing for what it can do! Furthermore, if Apple released a dedicated gaming ITouch with touch screen that could also slide up to reveal physical controls then it would dominate mobile gaming.
Do I own anything Apple? No. Have in the past but r...
...I'm all for it. Why? Because Microsoft should never be allowed to forget that shoddy hardware is unacceptable.
...that said we'd never need more than 640k of memory.
I also thought they had tried getting rid of the mouse as well...and that fights going real well.
