...the SenseMe interface is really sluggish - or it may just be my memory stick. As for the newly added playlist feature, anyone managed to get it to work?
...is pretty cool.
Takes a loooooong time to scan your music tracks to detect which SenseMe channel it belongs to. However, Playlist support....finally!!!!
...hadn't been such dorks over the price I probably would have gotten both MW2 and BC2. Now its BC2 all the way for me!
...you could perform a local search and actually list games being played and select which to join.
...but building it in behind the scenes to me is not good enough. I want to be able to select a local game that I want to join. Hiding this behind the scenes will not fix one of my major annoyances with the COD4 multiplayer lobby (on consoles). That is, join a game, see that its laggy, quit, then only to join exactly the same game over and over and over again. My record was 16 consecutive times of quitting and rejoining the same game.
Lobby systems are not rocket science. He...
...and higher polycount.
I for one would love a remake of SOTC on PS3. Imagine how the environments could play more of a part or just how great the creatures could be made to look and behave!
I still can't get over just how good the horse was animated!
The game is a 10/10 in my books.
...is brilliant which this review clearly conveys. However, this is yet another NZ gaming site failing NZ gamers with its review of multiplayer. I appreciate that its not quite there yet but what about what is there. What about the all too important, yet nearly always overlooked, lobby system!?!
Living in NZ a good lobby system can make or break a multiplayer game. If you can't do local searches or list available games and your connection to them then more often than not lag ...
...PS3 owners show their support for this AAA exclusive. All this talk about MW2 being over priced and yet I'll bet you that it sells better on PS3 than U2, which will be a crime!
I already have my copy on pre-order...do you?
...next year. This year my money is going towards more games, including PJM:Deluxe for my PSP-3000.
...almost no posts on this article!?!
Obviously no one cares. I however won't be spend $135 (NZD) for this game now. Multiplayer = broken without a better lobby system and I hope reviewers from around the world have the courage to mark the multiplayer down.
No doubt MW2 will sell millions and IW will become even more arrogant.
Can see this game soaking up much of my time for a while.
I love the idea of the minis but is there any screens or footage of the games set for release???
...quite short but wow, fantastic graphics! Will look at getting this when it comes out considering MGS: Portable Ops was so good.
...unsuccessful if Valve will just claim that Oz is a nation of PS3 owners and therefore not worth supporting LOL
Any word if NZ will see the game or not?
...anticipated title coming to the PSP this year! That and LBP of course.
However, I have to wonder how much of a draw PJ games are for the PS platform. Sure they are fun, in some cases addictive as hell but how many people would get a PS3 or PSP based on PJ games?
On the flip side of that argument of course is when you have such a solid performer like PJ in your corner you should aim at keeping them on your side. I can't wait for every PJ release as each titl...
That looks fantastic!
Sorry, but the manufacturing and distribution model is significantly cheaper with DDL. To not reflect that in the price to keep retailers happy is just plain idiotic as retailers are always discounting games as part of clearance sales, etc. Sony will only match their RRP and not what the retailers have as their shelf price.
Lets also factor in that you actually get less for your money in terms of DDL. No physical media, no booklet and no resale value. Sony should at least ack...
...they should have just released GT2 as a PSN download for the PSP.
I can now really appreciate why its not getting higher scores. The lack of polish with re: some of the visuals is more than disappointing. To be honest, give me 30fps and more cars on the track as well!
Will probably pick it up when its at a budget price for the PSP.
If you want DD to succeed without forcing it on the consumer then make it more attractive from a price point.
In NZ you can buy GT Mobil for $45. On the PSN store its $62.
At retail you can buy most platinum games for way less then what you can on PSN.
There is no way I can see Sony offering as many sales and discounts as retailers. Those with a PSP Go will be forced to pay what Sony deem is fair.
