...uninspired update. Digital Comics may appeal to some but I couldn't care less.
...I can walk into the store and buy it but cant get it off PSN till tomorrow (which will be Friday in New Zealand).
Digital distribution is a joke. Its more expensive and comes out after the physical media.
...they released a major overhaul to the PS3 internet browser to compliment Facebook access then more people might find this update a little more interesting.
I don't use Facebook and don't intend on starting now so 3.10 does not do much to enhance my gaming experience.
As for the changes to the friends list its a step in the right direction but why not just get rid of the box all together or give people the option of using the box or not. Regardless of the colour...
...but I don't care. Its on PS3 (although it was accessible already via the PS3's browser) because the 360 has it.
I hate the new integration with PS3. So what if you can automate updates to your Facebook page. Automated messages will become the equivalent of mailouts which people will start to ignore. Facebook, Bebo and Twitter are partly successful for the personal touch.
I wish Sony would not clutter the PS3 with pointless functionality. I sure wish there was...
Bit harsh. Most parents who buy consoles for their kids don't go into any real research and when was the last time a sales team disclosed facts that could lead to a sale not going through.
I think that MS should have to post the true failure rate else recall the product. Give the consumer the full facts so they can make an informed decision. If the games, social aspect of the 360 appeal more to them than the console failing then so be it.
On a final note, MS shoul...
...they listen to what PS3 owners want. I say we round up the 5 or so PS3 owners that wanted Facebook integration and give them a 360. They don't deserve a PS3.
Facebook integration...really?
I really wish Sony would get some $hit hot GUI developers to revamp the look and feel for the interface. The boxes for your profile and your friends just look last gen regardless of what colour they are.
3.10 = pointless.
...the script is 2000 pages as long as the gameplay is better than GTAIV. A major overhaul to the gfx engine wouldn't go a miss either.
...just a pity that its already been pirated.
I hope that pirate versions can't play on-line.
...cross game chat however, I appreciate why some may want it.
I would love to see a feature where you could copy media files (i.e. music, divx files) from the PS3 to PSP over the wireless or blutooth connection.
...that 130ms is too slow. Try gaming in NZ where we constantly get connected through to players hosting in the US or Europe and our ping is anything between 200-400ms.
This is why I want to be able to limit my game searches to NZ and Australia. Lag always ruins on-line gaming and MW2 does nothing to address it.
Yeah it may be the same ole gameplay but hell, I'm not sick of it yet. The R&C franchise has been consistently fun and visually stunning since day 1 on all PS platforms.
...shared similar attributes to something you typically flush.
...but they ain't getting it. I have been enjoying U2 multiplayer but it seems to be a lost cause. All these sales I have only seen 20k playing on-line once!
In my part of the world (New Zealand) I have yet to play play an "Optimal" game and have only played a "close" game several times. Its disappointing how well reviewed the multiplayer is and yet so few seem to play it.
...students who don't resort to crime. Sell it any way you want, you're still a thief.
...is that its too expensive given the short single player campaign and the multiplayer lobby sounds inept. I want advanced search options and not the automated ones.
Try multiplayer gaming in New Zealand and you'll understand why I want a better lobby system!
Other than that I'll bet the game is a hell of a lot of fun but single player ain't worth the asking price and multiplayer lag ruins almost any on-line gaming experience.
Ask yourself, if you can...
...for Avatar I can honestly say it didn't grab me all that much. I'm sure the movie will make its money back but I have already seen it - Just watch Battle For Terra.
...to finish the game today. Wow, what an experience! wasn't perfect all the way through but the game gave me the same feeling I got when I watched Raiders of the Lost Ark for the first time. So many things about this game are just...perfect. The consistently high level of detail in the scenery is just crazy! most impressive graphics for me were towards the end when it was raining. The way it looked like water was running down the walls and everything was wet was the best I have ever se...
I really hope that LBP on PSP prevents anyone who has a backed up (i.e. pirate copy of the game) from doing anything on-line with the game.
If you want the game on your memory stick then buy it off PSN.
...don't buy a PSP Go in New Zealand better than Sony.
First off its $499 (NZD) and secondly, the PS Store in NZ is simply a joke. The lack of available PSOne classics is beyond a joke and the underwhelming availability of PSP games is also disappointing.
...use to be the store would update Thursday night (New Zealand time) then it moved to Friday morning around 6am. Now it seems it could be any time on Friday.
Its frustrating not knowing when the update will actually take place. Especially since some of the games were available yesterday in stores.
