There it is, epic fail right before our eyes. Look for the price of the Go do be quietly dropped below $200 as we get closer to October.
No, I think what makes the App store is not ubiquitous access, but the fact that ANYONE can publish their own games on the service. If Sony truly opened up the PSP Go to everybody, imagine how much content would be created for the system.
I am not sure why people are so excited about the App store. for every good app, there seems to be at least ten crappy ones like the iFart button. Sony would do well to keep the barrier to entry a bit higher and enforce quality rules.
OK, but how awesome were the "flying" stages in Super MArio Galaxy where you controlled the manta ray? Something like that would be incredible in a flight sim.
I think that the definite strength of this system is that the control is much more sensitive than the Wii -- this was visible from the stage demo at E3.
One weakness is that holding onto a clunky controller doesn't work for all games, when a camera-only system might be better.
Bungie might be aone-trick pony, but there are tons of other companies like them around -- Crytek for example.
I wonder if there was some kind of legal reason for no campaign co-op. Maybe Dan Akroyd's lawyers didn't want players to be able to control his likeness or something?
Kinda like no damage on cars in Gran Turismo.
Hey Pope, what is your gamertag, I wanna kick your @ss in COD4
Interesting argument, but I think Christian wingnut fundamentalists deserve all the abuse they get.
On the other hand, EA does have a reputation for being evil so, I can't make up my mind on this one.
Well to be fair, it does say "up to 6 hours". But we all know that judging from past performance, the actual battery life will be closer to the low end of the range.
Wow, in between the super high price, lack of significant feature improvements, and now 4 hour battery life, the PSP Go is heading for a FAIL.
Very interesting read -- I think that the writer has everything figured out. A class-based Halo multiplayer makes a lot of sense, because it seems like that is where the caming communit is heading.
Dude, all of that stuff is in the article, and it is supposed to be a PRO Microsoft site lol
But it WILL be accompanied by a crappy casual LOTR game from Warner Brothers:

I definitely, definitely want to play Gladiator Arena. When motion controls were first proposed for Xbox360/PS3 I was against it, but now that I see the potential for more mature-themed titles I think it will be a success.
I guess for kids it does make sense. But for everyone else, its just another thing you have to buy before actually getting to buy your game.
I absolutely hate the idea of paying with points. The whole system just ads one more level of annoyance to buying things. Thankfully the new Games on Demand system will use an ordinary credit card for purchases, or like they said, prices would get ridiculous (7200 points!).
I just picked up this game and it is totally sick! highly recommended.
I actually think this game was the biggest megaton of Sony's E3 conference. We already knew about TICO because of the leaked trailer, but this looks AMAZING.
The fact is that the PRICE of the PSP go is crazy. It shouldn't cost so much when it doesn't add anything substantial to the gaming experience. The fact that by adding a 16GB card, you've eseentially got the exact same performace, means that the PSP Go serves what purpose, exactly?
