wasn't there a Sony ad from a few years ago that showed a person playing what looked like a snow globe? I thought 'yeah right, we'll never have game devices like that.'
Holy crap!
What websites would you want to see survive instead, and how would they survive, pay their staff etc.?
It just occurred to me that this might be the reason many journalists have been dissing the PSP Go...
Massive conspiracy by publishers to fight Digital downloads?!?
I wonder how much money N4G currently makes from those Amazon product boxes they put beside game reviews? What will they replace that revenue with once its all gone digital?
I don't mind Sony making money from MJ as long as they do it tastefully. Moonwalker was an awesome video game and it would be fantastic if they could do something similar on current-gen hardware.
This is shaping up to be a surprise hit on the PSP. I think the reason is because it is more of a "game" than Gran Turismo.
It will be interesting to say what other people say about the accuracy of Wii motion controls. My understanding is that it is more of a "gesture" mechanic than a true 1:1 capture like the Sony device.
You're right, I haven't. My first and last experience with the Wii was playing Wii sports about 2 years ago.
If the PS3 motion controller delivers as expected, then the Wii really doesn't pose a threat to Sony at all. My number one complaint with the Wii is not the graphics, but the poor accuracy of the waggle controls.
Yes, yes it does.
People thought the Wii was just a gimmick when it first launched...
Don't underestimate massive consumer hype.
When Amazon starts limiting purchases to 1 per household, you know that shortages are just around the corner. If Sony announces Gran Turismo holiday release, I expect sales to hit Wii-like proportions.
How about Shia Labeouf as Drake? LOL
Microsoft's press release just does not make any sense. I think the writer wanted so badly to connect the words "Exclsuive" and "Ferrari" that they did it in a purposely misleading way. The exclusive is just referring tot he game Forza 3, not to the cars in the game, which can be found in other games.
What is Sony's "Killer App"?
I'm really interested to know what people think.
There are two games that I am excited about for 2010. They are Deus Ex 3 and this game.
What I like about Microsoft is that their lineup caters to a slightly older, sci-fi geek demographic.
He's not going to get far unless they put some damned face buttons on the iPhone.
I hope that Sony can get theprice down to $199, it just seems a lot more reasonable. Otherwise most people would opt for a PS3 Slim, I think.
put ya hands in the aaaaaayyyerrr
Yes, that is exactly the ad I was thinking about! It is singificantly cooler than this 3D hologram unit though...
