That's a good point actually. What are we supposed to do here in Europe with our ghetto 32-inch TVs and closet-sized living rooms?

Americans could play project Natal in the back of their Hummers, but not the Japanese or Europeans.

Some interesting questions in this article about Natal: what does happen when someone else walks into the room with you?

"An orc has spawned!!"

Or a PS3 or PSP or Dreamcast. And especially not a Virtual Boy.

I imagine the NFS fans looking a lot like that doofus in the video with the backwards cap on.

Wait, FFXIII is coming this holiday?!?

Can you imagine? If the Xbox 360 Arcade came with a hard rive and was priced at $99 I would give them out to my friends for Xmas.

This article should be called "What Microsoft can Hope for After Holiday 2009", because Sony is going to trounce them this year. There is very little in the immediate future that can change the fortunes of the Xbox 360.

If Microsoft could sell on par with Sony in North America this winter, that would already be a miracle.

I actually think that Microsoft has the best chance of making a fully integrated handheld, one that could play XBLA arcade games and connect to Live.

The sad thing about games journalism is that the writer of this article clearly put a lot of time and effort into the interview, but it barely makes a blip on N4G.

Instead, some kid writes an "article" about why the PS3 is dead, and the story goes to 1000 degrees.

Good lord! Konami better watch their step with Lords of Shadow!

Sorry to be a downer, but I don't think tha tColin McCrae's name should be on the piece of trash that is DiRT 2.

Codemasters has ruined the series by pandering to the low-brow truck drivin', Energy drink swigging crowd. What happened to pure rally racing?

LOL at the Vampire one. Are there actual people who think that they are vampires?

I want this game so bad I am almost willing to pony up the full price for a new release, even though I hardly ever do that.

There are a lot more Arcade units sold than you might think.

6043d ago 1 agree3 disagreeView comment

The PS3 Slim obviously offers trmendous value, but what this article forgot to mention is that Microsoft has a cheaper Xbox 360 Arcade model that will still be popular with the real budget crowd.

How much does an arcade unit cost these days?

I agree with this review. Shadow Complex is fun for a very limited amount of time, and by next week nobody will be talking about it. Battlefield 1943 offers way more value for your $15, in my opinion.

To answer your question, that is a dithering filter used when rendering graphics on the PSP. It reduces processor load (by actually rendering a smaller number of points per cycle. But it does have the benefit of also cutting down on jaggies. Not all PSP games use it, but many 3D intensive games do.

Unfortunately I fail at Step 1: Have programming skills.

I'm not sure why anybody would be mad that they bought a current-gen PS3 phat instead. The new PS3 slim looks ugly and cheaply made.

6051d ago 2 agree7 disagreeView comment

Wouldn't it be crazy if the new PS3 Slim came with some horrible overheating problem, causing it to fail at a rate of 55 per cent?
