Another thing to remember is that visual acuity will diminish with age, to a degree. A younger person may notice a difference that an older person may not.
Something else to consider is that 4K resolution at the distance one would view a computer monitor at will make a difference, so those that advocate for 4K resolutions need to keep that in mind.
4K resolution only makes sense if you are using a screen 70 inches or larger and sit closer than five six feet from the screen, a ridiculous distance for such a large screen.
Human vision has a finite resolution that is not going to improve simply because manufacturers want to sell you a new 4K TV.

The future will also be decided in 2016 and 2017.
Advanced Warfare has a musical chairs mode?
The concerns are justified when you take the comments of the developers (story is their primary focus over gameplay) together with what little we have seen of the game. I don't think anyone in the gaming media with any credibility is flat-out saying the game is going to suck as much as they see warning signs that indicate the title may not hold up to expectations.
You mean "watch" it.
I have really high hopes for this game, but the lack of any real, meaningful gameplay is troubling. I sincerely hope my fear is ultimately unmerited, but we will see...
What are you talking about? ISPs are trying to do this now, regardless of how the FCC regulates them. Many areas of the U.S. already have bandwidth caps and data tiers.
The screenshots look good but how many times has the public been sold a bill of goods with screenshots that are simply too good to be true?
Of course this game will be fantastic, but I am going to wait until we get actual in-game screenshots from independent sources before judging the visual quality of this game.
By clicking "disagree" you assert that you are a drooling moron with absolutely no critical thinking skills.
Just to add the what most are saying: Jesus, it's a game that is still a year away and already looks incredible. You know ND is going to have this game more polished than a diamond.
My positive takeaway from this, besides the improved graphics and better use of environments for gun battles, was the short load time after Drake dies. The transition animations are also much improved over what we saw on the PS3.
Except for the fitness title those are all incredibly weak reasons to buy a Kinect. The fail train continues hurtling down the track for this peripheral.
I would love for Kinect to be a success as it shows so much promise, but either the technology simply cannot support the grand ideas of the creators or software developers don't have the imagination necessary to make it a success.
It's probably a t-shirt.
Just show us the damn game already.
I agree, but what should really be happening is that reviewers should be purchasing games at launch and evaluating games based on what the actual consumer is going to be playing, rather than review copies where the day one patches are not even applied.
This way the game publishers have no control over review embargoes and reviewers maintain their independence. Of course it derails the hype train and early access that so many in the gaming media desperately want. That's wh...
This harkens back to the first Assassin's Creed game on the previous generation of consoles. Technically the game was playable, but there were plenty of issues with frame rate, screen tearing, and pop in.
It wasn't until Assassin's Creed 2 was launched that many of these technical issues were ironed out. I suspect that will be the case again on this generation of consoles, where the next game in the series sees these technical problems more or less corrected.
Neither has Starcraft: Ghost, but we aren't deluding ourselves.
Only 720p for a soccer game on a next generation console? Seriously? A soccer game? You have got to be kidding.
Why do developers fall all over themselves looking for justifications for timed exclusives? The fans know cash was involved so don't pretend otherwise, and start spouting crap like "synergies" and "platforms."
You mean 900p.
:P

Use it, love it.
So when is the general public going to see actual gameplay? September, just before the game releases? It's getting ridiculous now.
Gamers have innumerable reasons to be skeptical given the industry track record of the last five or so years.
