Correct me, but I believe game installs on the Xbox One can take a long time because it downloads updates during the install process?
Reminds me a bit of inFamous: Festival of Blood, with some elements similar to Prototype.
Why? We know next to nothing about this console. You have no idea what the price is or any real, material information about this console. Do buy everything this way? Gamers are some of the most abused consumers in the marketplace today, and such blind loyalty only adds to our woes by encouraging deceptive marketing practices, deceptive pricing, reducing value, and many other anti-consumer and anti-gamer policies that only serve to inflate the profit margins of corporations.
Not to be a Debbie downer, but Microsoft said the very same thing about backwards compatibility with original Xbox games on the 360. Microsoft did a good job of getting a wide spectrum of games compatible with the 360, but it was never going to be every game, and so it will be with 360 games on the Xbox One.
How, exactly, is someone an asshole for playing the game early?
Apparently Sony and Nintendo have patents on the segmented D-pad.
Prosecution? It's not a crime to violate an NDA. Learn the difference between civil and criminal law.
This is utterly ironic considering that fog was a technique used in early 3D games to compensate for draw distance limitations.
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is still one of my favorite narratives in a video game.
"The balance between being an adventurer and cold hard killer..."
This is such a bullshit comment. Say what you want about Uncharted, but Nate is a not a cold hard killer just because he SHOOTS BACK AT PEOPLE SHOOTING AT HIM. I don't know why this particular criticism has been leveled at the Uncharted games when there are games that are far more deserving.
This isn't exciting or even an announcement, it's utter speculation based on comments made by Rockstar executives during an investor conference call. Of course Rockstar is working on new products. Until they go out of business one would expect that is case.
How about posting something when Rockstar actually announces a new product instead of this drivel?
I loved Uncharted 3 but I do have two distinct criticisms of the game. The first being the aiming system, which just didn't feel as good as the one used in UC2. It was improved with the aiming patch that came out shortly after the game was released but really wasn't fixed until the Uncharted Collected on the PS4. It never ruined the game for me and I learned to adjust, but it's worth noting.
The other criticism I have with the game regards the story and the loo...
Sucker Punch did the same thing with inFamous, borrowing aspects of Sly Cooper. I don't see how folding lessons, tools, and techniques from other projects into new ones is a bad thing,
I can't get over the reviewer's annoying accent.
The latest rumors all say it's going to feature a high quality espresso machine and waffle maker.
You have to admit that the Wii U has until now been a disappointment with few titles taking any real advantage of the gamepad screen, and those titles that do use the screen to great effect are all first party titles. The Wii U has some great games, but it certainly appears that the console has not lived up its potential with another disappointing year ahead. The criticism is justified.
I'm not afraid of change, but what Nintendo is doing is not so much change as offering nothing of value to buy. If you don't have a product to sell, that is indeed a strange and different way of doing business.
You have no idea what the NX console even is yet. This is just straight up blind fanboyism. People need to be more discerning and not just hand over your wallet without any consideration whatsoever.
The developers have to add all those extra "u's" to the dialogue. All that time adds up.
My only complaint about this game is that combat often got repetitive. You could endlessly repeat parry, sand retrieve (if memory serves) to beat just about every enemy. But perfect story, graphics (for the time), level variety and layout, difficulty, and voice acting. Superb all around game.
