As a busy person I love the rest mode. I can suspend my game and jump right back to where I left off, and charge my controllers as well. I don't understand why you wouldn't use it.
It's not fast. You have to wait for the console to start and then load your game. All of that takes time, and rest mode uses reduced power anyway. With rest mode, the console starts immediately right into the game I was playing.
It's stupid not to use it.
