Fact is that they have an amazing stable of games, yet the merger barely reflects this reality. This merger should have herald a new age for jrpgs. But all it did was join two companies together in name and debt only. There has been more of a collaboration between Disney and Square than there ever was between Square and Enix. Just a wasted opportunity.

It seems like reports are suggesting that the graphical power of the ps4 is going to be a lot less than what it we all wanted it to be. So while the ps4 will be a step ahead of the WiiU graphically, I don't think it is going to be the leap any of us wanted it to be. Sony has taken to many losses and it looks like they aren't willing to go all out like they did with the ps3. If the graphical leap isn't considerable enough then it just won't matter. Besides all that, the PS3 is ...

On that note, the stuff they want you to do for full synch just makes the game bad in so many places. It's not clear what you should do in a lot sequences. And there placement of guards is so fucking annoying it's not even funny. At times I just felt like AC3 was bad, particularly doing the vague chase sequences. Then I would take a breather and do a Naval Battle and love the game again.

The Naval Battles have really convinced me that Ubisoft could make an amazing pir...

Thats like saying, doesn't ff13 open up after chapter 10. Yes it does, but the controls are still just as bad. Like I said, it feels more like Ubisoft was concern how AC3 would look if someone watched you play it then how well the game plays for the person playing the game.

My problem isn't that the game is closed up anyways, but rather how slow and sluggish the controls feel and how you get glued to everything. It's almost like they threw away all their lessons ...

That score is way to high. This game tries to be a grand cinematic masterpiece, but the terrible controls and gameplay restriction drags this game down considerably. In spite of that it still manages to be a great experience, but this game is in no way a 9 out of 10 and certainly not a 95 out of 100. At best this AC3 is an 8 out of 10 and only then because of the amazing naval battles and the scope of what they attempted to do.

Also, playing a full synch run through of the g...

This is a terrible thing that happened and you shouldn't wish it on anyone. I am a console mainly gamer and I never think it's okay when the PC version of a game doesn't happen or the PC release gets lesser features. PC gamers spend a good deal of money on their computers so game developers should at least give them the option or attempt to optimize it for their PCs.

All this does is make people angry, it doesn't call attention to the tragedies that are happen...

This is completely inexcusable garbage. Apparently indie developers with no where near the resources of a huge company like Bethesda can make a half way decent game for ps3 but not a major corporation owned by Zenimax. If Bethesda wants to release a lesser game on ps3 than charge a lower price. From day 1 the base game on ps3 was plagued with horrible issues and now rather than figure out how to get the dlc to work on ps3 they just give up. Honestly, screw this company. I really hope that ps3...

It's amazing how the PC version of this game is just a whole other world. Sadly, I doubt next-gen ps4/720 consoles will even look this good.

Hopefully this is not boring and it has good checkpoints.

Glad to see people will be getting the survival horror game they wanted.I just hope that you guys support ZombiU and Project Zwei because if these games aren't financially successful by today's standards than expect more and more CoD like action games.

Remember, we live in an era of CoD and Halo which means these games need to sell millions of copies to be considered successful.

I am sure this reviewer will just hide behind the notion that he is stating his "opinion." The days of professional reviews are long gone and I am glad to see game developers start calling people out.

I agree with him too. Game developers are people too and it's only a matter of time before they start calling out stupid reviewers. The word retarded is a bit harsh, but not because the reviewer in question wasn't an idiot.

Next gen consoles wont even be as powerful as a middle tier gaming PCs right now. If Microsoft and Sony even attempted to do that you would have to shell out well over $1500 for a console. Even then, 1 hardware update would make gaming PCs vastly more powerful than next gen consoles.

The blessing and curse of PC gaming is that hardware can be upgraded and new hardware is constantly coming out. Understand, consoles will never be as powerful as the current top of the line gami...

Season passes and dlc is the future and a bleak one at that. But so long as people eat up the dlc from companies like Gearbox, don't be surprised when other gaming companies attempt to get their share of the pie too.

I wonder how many people are jumping to her defense simply because she is a woman. Just a little while ago tons of people where jumping all over that game "journalist" guy that questioned Felicia Day contribution and called her a glorified booth babe, which was intended as an insult. That guy got so much grief for his stupid comments that it ended up costing him his job.

Now this Lauren goes out and does this, yet many people are willing to defend her and say how s...

Ugh is this what Japanese publishers think of American people that like their games because this is just sad.

Completely agree. On another note, I think CliffyB was forced to retire from Epic or get fired. People like this guy rarely give up powerful positions unless they have no other choice. They need to have their egos constantly feed.

I get them, they love to whine and hate on particular companies. Right now it's cool to hate on Capcom, so no matter what Capcom does it will be viewed negatively. I remember a story about how the outfits in RE6 made it so you couldn't take the game seriously. Then there was another story complaining about not being able to use outfits in the campaign. Hopefully, companies like Capcom have learned to ignore a lot of feedback.

Completely agree. Also considering that this game is selling well the game is hardly broken, a great deal of people enjoy it. There are a few ideas and gameplay mechanics that need to be refined, but Capcom will gain nothing by going back to it's roots. The truth is that if they want mainstream success they need to continue down this route and just refine the poor areas.

The ideas they are experimenting with in multiplayer coop could lead to a truly amazing space. I love...
