Maybe if they add the reduced graphic content option like COD: Black Ops did. And well, these type of videos would not exist. Carter to all gamers = More profit and new fan base.
What do you expect the reaction to be? When you present it in this fashion of just clips of dismemberments of aliens and the gory ways Isaac can die. The Moms have no idea that they are not seeing the full contents of the game. I think if you were to have them see a 15-20 clip walkthrough of the game. They will know that Isaac Clarke is fighting off aliens and hallucinating as well. And they are less likely to see the different ways the player can die. This is really not a realistic method o...
"Ring card girls are depicted in tight clothing or bikinis, and the camera occasionally lingers on their chest or buttocks; players can also choose tattoos for their character—a handful depict women in revealing outfits. The words "f**k," "a*s," and "sh*t" can be heard in the dialogue."
This may hurt sales by not catering to all gamers. Now that this game is focusing on 18+ players only. The thing that may secure or help increase the sa...
There will be a hidden repeated message that will be written in some places of the game as the first game did. To further understand, check out Youtube.com.
Type in ... Dead Space hidden message ... in the search box. I believe there are videos that explain how to find and decode the message and gain an achievement.
One example- Finding the Peng Treasure ... http://www.youtube.com/watc...
Hhhhmmm ... Well, lets see .... hands free ... or a roll-on de-orderiant stick? :)
In December of 2010. The time I heard L.A. Noire was moved from Feburary 8TH to April 5TH. I heard that Deus Ex: Human Revolution was moved to March 8TH. And Amazon.com proved this to be so. Now Deus Ex: Human Revolution moved again to April? As you mentioned due to financial reasons. Maybe spending all that money on the reveal trailer was the reason. LOL
"The mind-blowing Deus Ex: Human Revolution reveal trailer took a development sideteam an entire year to craft, costi...
According to Amazon.com. The game will be released on March 8, 2011. Developers and distributors are in partnership in games being released on a curtain date. Lets hope it will not be changed again to early April. There may be some issues of budding up with L.A. Noire on April the 5TH, 2011.
A translator in english would be nice for us americans. Who's only language is .... english. Current language sounds like english with the fast forward button and play button on at the same time. But for those who can translate, I envy you. But non less this looks awesome. :)
Well, it comes down to money. I think most people can live with not having HDMI so they can have their rent paid or any other living expenses. The day my Xbox dies for good, is the day I replace it with what the Jones' have. Do I want better sound and picture as to what people are saying HDMI can do? Sure who doesn't. But priorities of being an adult say otherwise.
I think we all need a visual comparison here to set things straight. I have been playing with regular composite cables since day one, 2005. Since then I have not seen any visual comparison. I am not going out and spend $200-300 or so on a Newer Model because it has HDMI capabilities. Is nuts in this economy to spend on something you may have to squint to see any difference.
I was told when using HDMI cables for an Xbox 360 with HDMI capabilities (Newer Model Xbox 360's). ...
Mr Tretton,
Thank you for the suggestion. I did watch all the missions on Youtube.com for DS1. From what I understand the developers did such a great job with the first game. I may wait to see how much was improved from the first to decide then. From what I know now ... new weapons, better graphics (?), and the Necromorphs will come at you from random times and places.
"You can get DS1 for cheap right now." Where ... Amazon.com? But after shipping, ...
That was a video full of laughs markremo. I am not a fan of survival horror either, did not care for Resident Evil. I hope I am not the only one who is not a zombie fan anyway. But it seems there are plenty out there. Seemingly that game developers think they need to have them in somewhere or another.
I did not play the Dead Space. But when I saw the first few trailers of Dead Space 2 I was slightly interested. Then went back to find out the story behind it. And re-downloaded...
Just would like to add to what I said earlier. You would think the developer would have had random moments for the Necromorphs to come at you with in the first game. For some people, the first game took you out of the game experience at times. Especially when you knew the scare was coming. But with the bursts of sounds, you still jumped at times anyway. LOL
With the 3 elements of this great game to spend hours on. It is a no brainer to pick it up at this price!!
Amazon does Rock!
The first game when playing the second time through you new when and where they would bust out of crawl spaces or vents to attack. From what I read, the Necromorphs will come at you and say Booo!!, more randomly than the first game. Different times and different places I reckon. The result, less repetitiveness.
Shinobi602,
I agree with you. In these hard economic times. A person may have to stick to what they know from past experience and the reputation of the game and or its publishers. Another thought, look at your collection of games and decide what new game is different from the collection that you have. And for your birthday and Christmas, you can put those you skipped on the list.
This year it got to the point where I needed to decide on facts I mentioned. I a...
In order for a character to get his or her point across in a effective and stylish way. I guess people will have to resort back to creativity. Rather than slacking with using misplaced or shock value language to substitute creative writing. Here is another idea, use other creative actions to express strong emotions like anger or comic relief. Without using words (or words of profanity).
Another thought. To be fair, I think developers should be reminded to cater to all gamers....
I am not sure why all M Rated Games do not have this option in their games. Is it fair to say that developers need to cater to all gamers. In this case, gamers who prefer an non ear bleeding experience? I cannot imagine why developers do not favor or think of this on a sales end of publishing their games. Look at the sales of Call of Duty: Black Ops sales with the Reduced option filter. Give gamers this option = More Sales. It will also prove that you do not need misplaced and or shock value ...
hoof123- According Amzon.com the release date has been changed again to April 5TH, 2011. Developers let company's like Amazon.com know about changes like this.
The Moms have no idea that they are not seeing the full contents of the game. I think if you were to have them see a 15-20 clip walkthrough of the game.
