Watching such perfection being displayed gets me excited but the delays on the release of this game makes me loose my patience.
I did enjoy James Bond: Blood Stone over Splinter Cell: Conviction's Bi-polar cuss-bots for thugs for one thing. I cannot wait to see what the next James Bond will be like.
Another game I may need to stretch the pennies for besides LA Noire in March of 2011. :)
How likely are people going to shoot up fruit in the game where there are other players shooting at them? Cancel your pre-oder over a floating apple. That is a little bit too intense.
It is a great game, ignore those other reviewers who say it's an average action adventure/shooter game of 6-8 hours or less on the campaign mode. I extended my game play by going mostly stealth (not run and gun) and using less of what I like to call the "chain reaction shot" option. Combining this option with the close combat moves is very satisfying. On Agent (10-11 hours) and 007 (more than).
The figure, calling herself "Minerva" (godess) and addressing Desmond directly, reveals that she and others of her kind were part of a far more advanced society (Those Who Came Before) that lived on Earth and created humans in their own image (it is hinted several times throughout the game that humans were created as a slave race). Eventually man freed themselves and the two races went to war against one another, soon halted by a natural celestial catastrophe involving a massive sol...

Just last night I was thinking how great it would be to have a demo for this game. I am not sure what all goes into taking part of the actual game and add some editing for demo purposes. And whether or not it would interfere with spending time polishing up a game. But I could see if your staff is not that large to do so anyway. But never the less, it does raise questions on the thought of possibly "hiding" an embarrassing repeat. I do not think there was a demo in the last game put ...
Everyone likes the idea of being the hero. John (Master Chief) was praised as the hero it seems from the beginning with his own teammates. But he became known by the alien covenant as a demon overtime. Since the fait of another fallen solider, Noble 6 was next in line for duty. Noble 6 was hand picked but was just an ordinary good solider needing to prove his worth. The Super Hero VS "the new guy". I think it it more meaningful to be someone who develops into a hero through the stru...
I will be passing up on this game (yet the trailers are fun to watch). After AC2 the base story of the game was revealed that Aliens created humans. The game seem less believable. Something so ridiculous (near equal to the theory of Panspermia ) as depicted as serious and true. And leaves a stain on a persons conscience. Outside of this the game play and presentation is great. Yet, the story is what holds the game together is a curtain cause behind it. The story and reasons (the cause) behind...
Just after I clicked on updates for my MAC OS X program. I got the same results. Although I am not sure if that is the case.
So Cliff, all that went wrong with Gears 2. Has given you a 2 black eyes, leaving you blind. And your sales have shown its results by the numbers in the pre-owned game bin. And now your desperate for money to keep the franchise alive? Desperate times make a person do desperate things. Cliff, you might want to set up a site (or forum) on this matter and let the gamers decide. Or hear the sound of your Gears franchise come crashing down on your head.
This is not a sequel. This is the untold story that started it all.
I think it is harder to become more "innovation" with games these days. Allot of ideas of great innovation has been explored. I am sure there is more to be had, but gaming technology and creative ideas with innovation is still young in this current generation. And yes, I am sure there are those who spend more time on where the money is.
The point is that the word was overdone (200 times). Not just because it's an offensive word to use.
Your example has no merit. Using such filthy language like the F-bomb repeatedly (200 times is over done) is more effective as a offense. It becomes more of an distraction because of the meaning.
For every trailer I saw, there was on average 3-4 f-bombs. I was getting a ear bleed just listening to it. This kind of language actually distracts a person who is trying to enjoy and get into the story line. But this year was the year of the F-bomb being used. Next year, more nudity no doubt. LOL
Red Dead Revenge seems more fitting than Red Dead Revolution. But Red Dead Redemption has the near same meaning in the title as Red Dead Revenge. Maybe "Read Dead Resurrection".
There were others involved in the plot in Johns murder and betrayal. Red Dead Revenge seems more fitting. But Red Dead Redemption has the near same meaning in the title. Maybe "Read Dead Resurrection".
The music has the same sound as Street Fighter or other 2D games. If I play this, I think I will play my downloaded rock and roll style of music instead.
@ IllusionMPN,
It certainly is IllusionMPN. But boy, does it ever give a sucker punch of anxiety over such delays. Some delay a game for profit reasons. And others do it to polish up the game. Either way, I know you can understand why I am responding like this. :)
