No, that would be a famous reoccurrence with games that are formated for the PS3.
I would have to agree with you on this. It would be nice if the body copy was smaller in type size. Also allowing more background to show through the body copy. But when your busy playing, it becomes less distracting rather quickly.
Go ahead and try the demo several ways. Understand it is a staged demo, set up for the purpose of familiarity of the game tactics. For an example; In the final game ... Outside the warehouse you actually will be involved in a interrogation. So, it doesn't fully represent the full game (lesser bugs with AI, I imagine).
You can still play and take down enemies without using the ME move. Just like previous Splinter Cells. :)
From what I have read, this demo was set up for the purpose of familiarity of the game tactics. In the final game ... Outside the warehouse you actually will be involved in a interrogation.
The developer and the team have designed the game to allow the player to choose how they want to approach each situation. But I am sure there will be moments were stealth will be a lesser choice. The game tactics usually corresponds with the story line of the moment.
Fanboi hater and Bigpappy - I had played with lesser body count. Meaning without using the pistol. First part was an a tutorial. Went through the fence and went towards the building. But I turned around and hide, through the sticky camera in the area of the guards. Activated a noise to sound. I distracted the 3 guards before going in the front door. Ounce through the door, I grabbed the guard as a shield and through him into the dark against the blacked out window. Shot at the object hanging ...
Both games are different in presentation and game play (modern vs futuristic time frame). Yet, what makes them similar is the use of some kind of stealth tactic in the game. It is rather hard to tell that one is rendered in Sub HD and the other in HD. I bet people would be less offended if they were not told this. It is quit an achievement to pull off visuals that look like a full HD presentation. Ubisoft has done it well.
Mark and Execute is optional. And the black and white, with out it your not going to know if your hidden. Needing to make a quick move, oooopsss, I did not know I was in plain sight. And having a high tech meter to keep an eye on can distract you as well. This is a faster pace game play, you die sooner if distracted. So, the black and white fits. Remember, your on your own, lesser gadgets. Makes it all more believable.
You have 2 choices now. Stealth and being in your face renegade. And understand, Sam is on a different mission. This time it's personal, so the pace is going to be different too.
Lets wait for the full game to come out before we jump to conclusions. The demo was just a sample for practicing the new game tactics. Demo graphics are usually lower than the full game graphics. So, Xbox people go back to playing games. And PS 3 people go back to playing your blu ray player.
Yes, that is possible. Someone they know, because the message was opened. Some people do not open things from someone they do not know. Hopefully they were not trying to seek a lawsuit with Microsoft. A sick way to get money. So, I hope the truth comes out and justus is served.
AridSpider and Blaze929 - There is no suit. So, no high tech light meter. This is a good option, you know when your hidden. Better than taking your eyes off the action to keeping an eye on a meter. And it helps keep up with the speed of the game elements.
I do not know what all the fuss is. Like most, if not all demos. This is a lower resolution for a smaller file to take up lesser space ounce downloaded. This guy (MazingerDUDE) analyzed a demo with lower resolution. Not the actual game its self. Personally, I did not notice what he is trying to point out. When I was playing the game demo. I was less concern about what resolution it was, because demos are a lesser resolution. Some people are commenting on a demo they cannot play because of it ...
The only reason I am responding to this forum? Is that I am rather surprised to see so many negative comments on such a short clip. I think to be fair, we need more video clips to get closer to a more reasonable response. Better yet, from those who played the game.
Since when does President Obama's social agenda invade the on-line gaming community?
There are people who are complaining about how Sam is not the same and or the game itself. If it was the same, people would still complain because of it not evolving into more directions. And the actor, who does the voice of Sam. Was not going to do another game voice over. Until he read the script and saw the new direction of the game.
Longevity is the name of the game. Between GOW3 and ME2. With all the classes in Mass Effect 2. I think Mass effect 2 wins the longevity award. If we are talking about more sales and longevity, I am betting on Halo: Reach. As as far as Game of the Year. There is more games coming out yet. I am thinking between 1ST and 2ND and possible 3RD. We are talking about a width of flea's eyelash.
Mass Effect 2 allows you to make a choice not to pursue any love interest. And how far to take it if you do. So, sex scenes are totally avoidable. If you desire to have a love interest that involves "love making". You can still choose the Paragon choice action over the Renegade to get a (PG) PG-13 rating response.
If not regulated, all Mature Media can fuel a persons present or potential destructive behavior. And parents are to busy or passive themselves to notice.
Personally this peaked my interest. I am tired of the MW2 look alike game play. People need to except change and be mature about it. And gain a new perspective.
Instead of being stuck in a mold. UbiSoft is trying to break the mold here. Some credit is do for making such bold steps.
