I think the WiiU will have some of the highest rated games this generation. Not only that, they are just generally very fun games and different titles from what are on the PS4 and XbOne.

I agree that many will just read the headlines and while Criterion did an excellent job with NFSMW. I think Alex is taking this a little bit on the personal side against Nintendo. But EA screwed the game out of the gate with the high price. For some people expecting Nintendo to throw marketing dollars behind a game that they didn't publish, is being a little foolish. Well to be honest, not even the PS4 version looks like it did before. So it's not surprising that my guess is WiiU will look like an Assassin's Creed game. Watchdogs was just to ambitious for all the consoles involved to look anywhere close to the e3 2012 version. Most of the WiiU owners want the game because it is probably one of the few must have games that actually uses the gamepad in a unique way.
Ubisoft just overshot what they expected these consoles to be able to handle. I'm so sick of people saying it's being held back because of the last gen consoles, when this Watchdogs engine was created for next generation and created with the PC in mind then ported down to the rest. People just believed all of that nonsense about PS4 being a supercharged PC, when it's not!
It's stuff like this that I wonder why 3rd party games don't sell well(sarcasm). Ubisoft basically cut off Rayman Legends at the knees and it still sold better on the WiiU, but how much more would it have sold if it came out much earlier. I promise you that Ubisoft will do something stupid like release the WiiU version really close to X, Bayonetta 2 or even SmashBros and say see, we told you it wouldn't sell. Why would they do that when they have already put so much work into the WiiU version and Ubisoft knows that people are looking forward to this game. Because when it was rumored to be canceled, the pre orders shot up dramatically when they found out that the game was still on track.
I actually believe this to be the case, because the last time they delayed Rayman. It was very close to WW HD and that didn't turn out to well, even though the game still sold better on the WiiU.
Well I can understand why he would want his character in SmashBros, just like I'm sure many Nintendo fans would like to have a Metal Gear game on the WiiU! Maybe he can focus on doing that first. Personally I'd rather she Nintendo advertise Bayonetta in SmashBros, since we have a game coming out soon!
