Playing up the asymmetrical status of the gamepad would be great, but I'm not sure that they will reveal that much about the game this early. I think we'll get a graphical trailer of Link and possibly a vague glimpse of who he's up against. But it will mostly be about showcasing the new Zelda world on WiiU. Personally I'd like to see Zelda go more anime and specifically with an art style similar to Fate/Zero! Probably hands down one of the best looking and most impressive look...
People sound kind of ridiculous saying RPG elements! Zelda has always been an Adventure/RPG. Now if people mean more like a JRPG, then no that just wouldn't suit the main franchise well. Maybe a spin off similar to what Hyrule Warriors is doing, but not the main canon series though. Voice acting for everyone that Link interacts with would be cool, but leave Link as the quiet soldier. The bad news that I'm wondering is if this is a tie over until the Uncharted game is ready for the PS4. Many are expecting the game to come out this year, but I think it will be a spring or summer 2015 game at the earliest. The Order will probably be released this year though I'm guessing.
Yes Disney owns the IP's but EA has the publishing rights! (I'm sure its just for a limited time though) Disney can make a side game with another studio that doesn't compete with EA's games, but they can't force EA to make Starwars games for any specific platform though. Y
Not true, Nintendo has paid to have games exclusive. But what they probably weren't going for was Lucas Arts asking for some crazy amount to keep the game exclusive.
I hate comparisons like this because the WiiU could really use both games right now! We have enough side scrolling games and platformers. More games like this can showcase the system in a good light.
With EA and their unprecedented partnership, it'll never happen! I would rather Ubisoft had the Star wars license, because I think they would at least try to make some interesting games with it. EA will take the Masseffect setup and put Star wars characters in it and then they'll take the shell of BF4 and put Star wars themed vehicles and scenarios and call it a day.
To everyone that's riding this so hard! You do know that these play modes are only this restrictive to random generated online matches. If you're gaming with friends or people that you normally play online with. Matches can be customized however you like. Gamexplain showed this recently in one of their analysis, the demo was characters fighting on a final destination stage with items turned on.
While it's frustrating I can see where this could benefit the WiiU. Simply because there are more 3ds owners out there that don't own WiiU's and this could push them to get one. Also the 3DS summer library was lacking and I have a feeling that the WiiU will be getting summer releases that aren't confirmed yet. I don't think so! Most likely the gamepad features were going to be a combination of what was done in Assassin's Creed, ZombiU and Splinter Cell. What hurts the WiiU version is that Ubisoft has come out and said that they completely pulled the developers working on the WiiU version, to help finish up the other systems.
I agree that it would be a mistake releasing it against MK8, but watch them do something even more stupid by releasing it around the time of SmashBros instead. E3 has to be epic, because here are some games that I'm hoping we get updated news, game play and or release windows for. X, SMTxFE, Bayonetta 2, Zelda U, Sonic Boom, Hyrule Warriors and SmashBros. I agree. When all is said and done, Nintendo will have a large enough install base on WiiU to make nice profits from their software. Let's just hope that if WiiU only sells in the GC numbers, that they don't get gunshy with the next console. Nintendo just needs the right software to get the system moving. I really wish people would stop acting like Nintendo has always gotten equally great 3rd party support. That ship hasn't been around since the SNES! The best thing that Nintendo can do 3rd party wise is continuing to seek out 3rd party cross over exclusive games like SMTxFE, Hyrule Warriors and Whatever else that could be unique for the Nintendo console.
I disagree! It would not be smart on Sony's part to show this game at e3 if Nintendo shows something like ZeldaU. I'm sure the game would look amazing on PS4, but people wouldn't be talking about that over other big titles. If the game is close to being released, they should wait until a few months out and the market like crazy. The people that want this game already know of its existence, so that wouldn't be a problem in doing a stealth release.

I think it's just scratching the surface. Mostly because the game is pushing so much on screen, but doesn't drop the frame rate while playing 2 racers split screen. Yes the frames drops when 3&4 racers play locally, but previous games on consoles always gave up frame rates early when the system was being pushed hard.
I really believe that Nintendo isn't talking about a new Fzero because of the antigravity features of MK8.
