Damn if Nintendo can make these types of games look this good on Wii 1.5 Hardware. What will they do with their next console? Lol
I'm calling it right now, that whatever they show on Zelda at e3 is going to be the talk of the show!
Well if you don't like the shift series, I can understand that. But trying to discredit a studio on 2 games that very good metacritic scores is nuts! We all have opinions on what we like and dislike, but let's wait and see if PCARS turns around before released. This is why some people probably shouldn't get involved in beta testing. You have to understand that you can't have the final version before it's gone through the full development stage. If this were closer to relea...
You sound spurrned about something else, not the game! The fact that the game is still in development and doesn't release untill later this year sounds like you maybe jumping the gun a bit. You stated you played the alpha versions, but what's the latest build that you've played? And how can you say their track record was shit? Most of these guys worked on NFS Shift 1&2. Which are probably two of the best and highest rated games in the series!
What do you mean I will change my mind? You act as if we don't already know what they are capable of.
These guys are awesome and checking out their website and seeing each team members background. Just shows how accomplished they are as developers. The one big thing I'm wondering is if this studio can make such a high quality game with approximately 4 million dollars. These other major publishers are just being wasteful then. Games like Project Cars and Mighty No.9 could be the major success stories of what kickstarter is capable of.
From playing the 1st two Infamous games, the thing I found the most was how much I wanted Sucker Punch to do their version of a Marvel or DC franchise! Sony owns the Spiderman license right? I would love to see what these guys would do with Spiderman or even an X-men game would be amazing. Other than that, people shouldn't be too hard on the story and settings as it has got to be next to impossible to come up with an original story that hasn't been somewhat told already.
Well something you have to consider as well, back at the begginning of the 7th generation. Developers had to get up to speed on HD development and multicore cpu usage. We don't have such obsticles now, because most of these developers have been making similar styled games for the last 8yrs or so. I think developers are in a rut of where to take gaming next and how are we gonna get there. Look at Watchdogs! A game that was too ambitious for its own good and now is being riticuled for being...
Not true Naughty Dog even stated that they pretty much maxed out the PS3 on Uncharted 2. Yes there's always optimizations to be made, but visually nothing blows UC2 away on PS3! I think people have to realize that these consoles are all just evolutions of the previous hardware and not revolutions.
Not true, I believe it was Digital Foundry that compared BF4 on PS4 to the equivalent AMD r265 gpu and the r265 not only ran BF4 at 1080p, but consistently higher resolutions with higher graphics settings. PS4 fans would be just as mad about this article if it was stating that the XbOne version was outdoing the PS4 in visuals. You guys would all be talking about how lazy the developer is and how Microsoft paid them off, so it shouldn't be to hard to guess that this developer is trolling e...
Actually not completely true. Sakurai stated that his team doing the bulk of the development, so we really have no clue what Namco's involvement is on the game. I'm sure they are assisting where Sakurai needs them to but it's not like Namco is making the game by themselves and Nintendo is just publishing it.
Well seeing as how there hasn't been 5 SmashBros games this is probably misinformation. Or maybe a very late April fools joke!
If you know his comment history, he's not saying anything nice! That's why people are disagreeing
-Zelda U
-The Division
-Bayonetta 2
-X
-Project Cars
-Kingdom Hearts 3
-SMTXFE
-SmashBros
-Sonic Boom
-Batman Arkham Knight
(Not in any particular order)
I really, really like a lot of your ideas! I think they could really expand the Zelda universe while still retain the Zelda elements. Elemental magic is high on my list for Zelda and having the option to combine it with the Master Sword could be epic. Not to mention the story arc for obtaining those elemental powers could be a fresh change for Link. I like the idea of battling a boss more than once and maybe even the game could evolve as your character does as well. I think crafting would sui...
ALBW was a step in the right direction for the Zelda franchise. The game does so many things right and doesn't hold your hand. I like how if you need help, you can use the ghost hints but it's not something that is being pushed in your face though.
To be honest I agree! Now it doesn't have to be full voice work but even something along the lines of what Fire Emblem Awakening did could be the minimum. It can't be budget reasons because look how much voice work is in a game like Wonderful 101 and Bayonetta 2 and Zelda U will easily sell more than these 2 combined! I'm kind of ok with Link having limited voice work but I think the characters you interact with would be more immersing being able to hear and see their gestures.
1) Dvd player out of the box! When the system launched dvd was still new and fairly expensive.
2) Exclusive 3rd party games! During the PS2 years Japanese 3rd party games were king and mostly found only on Sony's system.
3) Hardware and marketing! Because the PS2 was such a custom piece of silicon, everyone believed the hype of tech buzz words such as Emotion Engine and Graphic Synthesizer. Simply because during this time Sony was putting out very high e...
A major factor that I'm ready to see in Zelda is more RPG elements! Its about time that Nintendo incorporates a weapons and skill arc tree for growing abilities in the area that the player desires. Zelda ALBW is a start in the right direction, but how awesome would it be to level up the Firerod. Make collecting things in the game truly matter towards crafting items to use or sell for rupees. How about incorporating light and dark magic more into the story. Maybe a new class system for Lin...
I think a cinematic better story arc would do Zelda well!
We get that Mario is all about gameplay but in games like Zelda and Metroid, its all about the isolation, atmosphere and doing what it takes to become the hero of legend. This is also why these two Nintendo franchises could make great live action movies as well. Hopefully the reveal of Zelda U looks even better than the Zelda experience and has a unique plot twist.
I agree that Bayonetta might not be a fair comparison for PS3 games developed by Platinum. But everything else should be ok to compare, and the fact is that Bayonetta 2 is hands down their best looking game to date!
