Not true, while the GC I believe was launched at a breakeven price point. When they had to drop the price relatively soon into the consoles life cycle, it caused them to sell it at a loss. The major difference is, the GC had an insane attach rate for games. Even to this day it has one of the highest attach rates of all Nintendo consoles relative to its install base. This is why they still made so much money during that era. The GBA definitely helped as well!
I just don't think that this is the right forum or vehicle to address those issues! I support equal rights for all and gays deserve the opportunity to be just as miserable as the heterosexuals getting married :) Jk
But seriously, video game forums are not a stepping stone to winning over the White House and Congress on this issue.
They have to understand the audience this game will have, it is not Nintendo's duty to inform kids who maybe playing this game about the social aspects and rights of 2 men or 2 women getting married. These types of public cries are no different than when a teen gets murdered or there's a school shooting and all the politicians come running to blame video games.
3d World is an excellent game, but I think Nintendo needed a Super Mario game on the level of Galaxy or SM64. Not taking anything away from the latest game, but those 2 games in the SM series defined platform gaming! I feel the same way about DKCTF. Great game, but not what the WiiU needed at this time... As much as everyone wanted Retro to show a trailer for Metroid last e3, if they had waltzed out with a sequel to DK64. The Internet would have went crazy!
I've been tossing this around in my head and I could see Nintendo use the gamepad in a unique way with the folder/tree storage. Where the hierarchy folders are on the TV, but when you open a specific subject it expands onto the gamepad and allows the player to cut, copy, paste, move items back and forth as well as launch and update games in the background. If they added an online component to Nintendoland, it could possibly be one of the most addictive games on the system right now!

What games are you playing on your PS4 and XbOne? Serious question, because I only know of 2 games for both systems worth owning each for and that's Titanfall and Infamous SS!

That made absolutely no sense whatsoever, I don't get some of these people on here. I said this yesterday, Nintendo can announce that they are bringing out 12 AAA titles for the rest of the year and people will still find fault with it.

I think Nintendo should just hire these guys to handle their Product marketing in the western areas. The video was just head and shoulders over anything that Nintendo themselves had done previously for the WiiU and it's very memorable.

I think with the WiiU it comes down to if Nintendo is putting out the right games for the system. MK8 will certainly be one of the first games done right on the WiiU, but some of the other titles probably should have been something else. SM3DW is an excellent game, but how hyped would people have been for a new chapter in SM64 or Galaxy.
