Anything is news these days! It won't be the best selling MK, but it will probably go down as one of the highest rated and it will outsell most of the PS4 and XbOne exclusive titles. So how does one detract from those points on N4G?

Hands down, this is just gamers having a blind loyalty to whatever brand they like. I don't plan on buying a ps4 because Sony makes it, but I'll pick one up when it gets some good games. Let's be honest with ourselves, if these rumored WiiU games were coming to the PS4 2014 would possibly be heralded as one of the best years for gamers...
What you don't understand about the history of gaming and 3rd parties where Nintendo is concerned. Is that it makes no difference in how powerful the hardware Nintendo created this generation, they were never going to get the same treatment as both Sony and Microsoft. People must except this sooner rather than later! The WiiU could have been more powerful than the other two and it probably wouldn't have changed anything but Nintendo's increase in losses.

If this is true, WiiU will have the best line up of games in 2014 hands down. A lot of games will be announced from all 3 companies during e3, but what is the percentage of games coming sooner rather than later.
At the time Twilight Princess sounded way to dark for a Zelda game. My bet is whatever the graphical style maybe, this game will truly manifest what it feels like to go into The Lost Forrest or come face to face with an epic Zelda boss for the first time.
Many people assume that it's not because Square owns the rights, but what if this is why the game has been untitled this entire time!
Shard of Nightmare sounds like a prequel or sequel to Twilight Princess. I was shocked that other people didn't point out the specifics in the names given to Zelda U and X.
The interesting thing is, we know that just a few short years ago studios were approaching Nintendo about using their franchises to make movie's. We had the rumors Metroid movie that was supposedly in the works, so maybe we will here some developments a long these lines in the near future.
I hope Nintendo really analyzes how valuable good pokemon movies are to the franchise. It's one of the reasons for it being such a crazy cash cow. Pokemon has movies, toys, cards, games, cartoons and more! Some of Nintendo's other franchises only need a few of those things and it could make the demand that much higher for when games are released.
My skin crawled at the thought of a Michael Bay Zelda. Peter Jackson would or James Cameron would make an epic Zelda movie. Metroid, I would only want Ridley Scott or JJ Abrams involved. Nintendo does have a few franchises that could either be a 1 off epic masterpiece or a series of very successful movie's. The Mario Bros franchise should never be live action again, it could make for some great Pixar films though.
I Don't want Sony, Microsoft or Nintendo to just come out and announce games that have no release date in sight! Please announce games that are coming this year and next... This is where Nintendo will probably shine, on the games that are coming out sooner than later.
This would be very shocking news, but Zelda can sell no matter what month it releases in. If true, I would want to know what would be their big holiday title of 2015? It would have to be something pretty major! Damn e3 is taking to long now... lol
I think the 7th generation officially killed it for the most part. They launched and we're pretty competent online devices, so the console online multiplayer focus grew as well.
I just wanted to add that he could have at least ended his Mario playing experience on SM64 or the Galaxy games. Sunshine is considered by the majority of Nintendo fans as one of the worst in the series! I would never judge the rest of the games by that game alone.
We're a wasteful nation is what we've become! Even how quickly Congress wanted to let GM, Ford and Chrysler sink. All of those companies are doing much better now, but what would it have been like if they weren't given a chance to survive.
The thing about your post that's irritating is when you say you grew up and need new experiences! It's people like you that buy the annual CoD's(insert annual franchise). It's fine if you don't like Mario, Metroid or Zelda any longer, but to try and belittle them at the same time by just being the same old games. Just compare the last 3 console Mario & Zelda games to the last 3 God of Wars or Uncharted games. I can guarantee that the Nintendo games are at least trying ...
