Well if they listened to N4G, they would have to turn every franchise that they own into Darksouls and give Mario a mature gun to turn head's at e3. But if they just give the fans what they want, it will be an amazing e3 for them!
Definitely would like to see a PSO game, but I also would like to see Eternal Darkness, A new Custom Robo, Skies of Arcadia, Baten Kaitos and Geist.
I want the next Zelda to look like the cut scenes in Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn and Awakening. This is the perfect art style to which all console Zelda titles would look amazing and timeless! Not to mention I think the WiiU could totally pull it off in real time... Radiant Dawn cutscenes is probably the better example of how future Zelda games should look

The WiiU will be the home to top tier Nintendo games and some pretty unique Indie titles and I'm ok with that. What people don't understand is that if Nintendo is willing to tap into all of their franchises from over the years. They have enough to fully sustain a console by themselves easily! Well just a couple of days ago many were proclaiming that this would be a PC, PS4 &XbOne title only. At this point people need to stop saying that if this or that game doesn't come it's going to be a big blow. How many people are going out to buy WiiU for the yearly CoD installment? I personally would like to know more about the Nintendo Digital Event. We aren't so sure on what the whole format of this thing will be. Maybe Iwata and Miyamoto will have prerecorded "Nintendo Direct" style footage of game reveals from Japanese studios that is being shown to a selected audience at the Nokia theater with Reggie & Bill Trinen hosting with info and demos from Western studios while being taped for a release say the next day. It just doesn't make much sense ...
It's most likely their QoL hardware they've been hinting towards. They said it would be revealed this year and at e3 will probably be the best time to do that.

Well MK8 is trending on Twitter as well, so I don't get why people are downplaying this. It's great news for Nintendo all around either way! Nintendo actually puts out great information about an upcoming major title and they get flack and the Drive Club developer comes out to announce the game will run in 1080p 30fps and that's supposed to be major news. People hype the stupidest things these days!
For everyone that's stating Nintendo is slipping into obscurity this year, uh no! Last year was definitely lackluster, but this year they are renting out the Nokia theater just to put on a SmashBros event! This might be the most hard core statement that Nintendo has ever publicly done. Not only that being able to go to a participating BestBuy and play SmashBros WiiU during e3 is epic. Not to mention I'm pretty sure that other games might be playable as well, just not announced yet.
What's dumb about people's arguments for a press conference, we have people stating that you would see games live and if there are any problems with it. Nintendo's Digital Event is just for announcements, they already stated that the Tree House would be there live with game demo's and further information on games announced. "Live"

It's so sad that Nintendo didn't even have a live press conference and the best thing about e3 2013 was 3rd party games! If Nintendo does things right this time by having multiple streaming partners and the SmashBros tournament is a hit. There will be plenty of buzz about Nintendo after e3! I would like to see a custom Smash controller announced with the WiiU version, for the hard core fighting fans.
This is what I agree with! Mostly none of us will have the chance to go to E3 anytime soon, so I for one welcome the change. I think if anything Nintendo needs to be more aggressive with this local e3 experience! Why not put out some advertising and also let WiiU owners at home have the option to play some of these e3 demo's as well.

I don't get why a live stage conference or Digital Event effects the people at home? I didn't mind them doing a Direct last year, but what I didn't like was that it was poorly planned for and the stream would constantly go down. I still would like for Nintendo to come out and announce playable demo's straight to WiiU personally! This is what has me most intrigued. The game has been announced outside of e3, which leads me to believe that there's so much information and content to go over at e3 that they are trying to make room!
