Not to mention that they are publishing games like P-100 and Ninja Gaiden 3. They were discussing all of the changes being made to Ninja Gaiden3RE and I'm thing now this sounds like a game I wouldn't mind playing for sure. I just don't get it!

I'm not hating on the WiiU, as I want one! Just not for NSMB-U, a game that they then turn around and announce a similar game to on the 3ds... They are putting this game out at launch because they feel the masses want just any kind of Mario game. And for those of you that know your history, Mario Sunshine proved this theory false. Granted i'm sure that NSMB-U will no doubt be a great game, just as Sunshine was. But just not the system selling software that they are hoping for.

But as someone else stated in another post. Nintendo has more than 20 studios (1st & 2nd party) that are mostly working on WiiU stuff. So lets put Retro aside then, what are the rest of their studios doing then? I know it didn't take Nintendo 2yrs to come up with Nintendo Land

I have to say that most of the games that Nintendo showed, I wouldn't pay more than 40-50$ for. Most of the games look like they could be $10-20 e-shop games actually...

If NSMB-U had the graphical detail of Little Big Planet, then I would agree the game is gonna fly off the shelves. But it looks like a Wii game and Pikmin was far more interesting to me! As other people stated, Nintendo had other games and even 3rd party demos. But they chose not to show them and it will be a string of bad press behind this for sure. It's like they have alot to talk about but don't want to talk about anything... Maybe they should just pay someone else to promote and t...

Well they have to do some serious damage control now before the WiiU launches. I'm sure we'll be seeing a Nintendo Direct video from Iwata and Reggie apologizing for the major mis-step. But how much more of this are people wlling to take? You can't keep releasing products and giving public apologees for failed marketing to your public audience.

See that's where you are wrong because I am a Nintendo fan and I was utterly disappointed by what they showed this year. I still don't understand how a company can blow a new console reveal! The thing practically would sell itself if we knew everything about it already. If I knew they weren't really going to showcase what the system could really do gameplay wise. I wish they would have at least showed the multimedia functions of the console, that would have been better than nothin...

That's my thoughts exactly! Don't they know who their audience is that watches, participates and then talks about E3 to other gamers? It's not the mainstream people looking for the next WiiFit or Nintendo Land... And I wouldn't be so upset and bothered by Nintendo Land if it weren't for the way Reggie was making it seem as if this was something that we all should be so pleased by ourselves... I think this was another major mis-step on the companies behalf as a whole and th...

The crazy thing is. Nintendo said they learned from the 3DS's mistakes and this press conference showed they learned nothing from what they did when launching that system... How does one give birth to a system and idea and not fully support it properly during its big unveiling?

Now it's upsetting, because if he's so pleased he should have come out on stage and showed game play running on the WiiU.

Being a fanboy has nothing to do with it! This was horrible at best... I almost rather that they talked about the multimedia aspects of the system instead or something.

So a third party game is giving more interest in buying WiiU then Nintendo's own software. The only game i'm remotely interested in was Pikmin 3 from Nintendo. What was more funny, I was all set to laugh at them even showing Lego City! And that game actually didn't look to bad and had more interest than Nintendo Land. Nintendo should have had more in store fore the core fanbase. After all this was what Iwata addressed before hand in a previous interview. When does Nintendo think t...

To me though it wasn't about whether Nintendo showed first party titles that are hardcore gore fest games. But you surely expected more developers besides Ubisoft to come forward and announce game support for the WiiU... Nintendo needed an exclusive reveal of Aliens CM on WiiU or even demo reel trailers of what Retro and other in house sudios have been working on for the past couple of years. Peter Molyneux put it best when he stated "That Nintendo had alot of stuff to talk about, bu...

This E3 was far worse than last year for Nintendo! It seemed as though games that could really showcase the systems abilities were nowhere to be found and these are epic blunders by Nintendo. Not small little mishaps! Reggie's interview with Geoff Keighley seemed as though Reggie was pleased with what they have shown for WiiU... which would be complete delusion if he thinks so

What was nintendo thinking with this press conference? It was so underwhelming, it felt like they held things back on purpose. Case in point, at the last minute Reggie brought the game "Project P100" for Spike TV and Game Trailers. Why wouldn't they announce a game like this during the press conference. Even the fact that Iwata did the whole Nintendo Direct on sunday and yet Reggie went over everything once again during the conference. Which just felt like they originally had st...

Actually its a me too of Apple TV and iCloud if anything. It seems like it suits multimedia more-so than gaming in my opinion. The major difference is that everything is in realtime with WiiU and using a phone or tablet as a controller with Xbox, most likely is computing through a cloud network.

I think people are overhyping a gaming experience that we've already had before... Survival Horror has been done before and I expected them to show alot more then what they did on stage.(I know the story will be great because it's Naughty Dog) but the 2 games that are actually the most interesting to me are probably "Watch Dogs & Dishonered". Amazing new gameplay in both!

5012d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

Watch-dogs has to be the best "game of show" so far! Amazing and it was completely unexpected as well.

I hate to say, but the "last of us" wasn't the best looking game of E3 so far! I wanna know if the stills they showed of that ZombiU game from Ubisoft, if those are in game graphics. Because nothing on PS3/360 looked that detailed...
