they said the anti-aliasing is better on ps4 but the framerate is more consistent on the xbox one. So which do you prefer? A smoother looking game, or a smoother playing game? The choice is yours, just enjoy yourself.
exactly, it's a demo! The game looks and plays fantastically.
Those games weren't disappointments to me. All of these delays though is making the next-gen launches seem like a waste of time though.
I downloaded Max yesterday but it got to 99% on the install then stopped.
definitely the hardest submission system to pull off even with the simplified controls.
Not really, I think they are on the right track now. Their campaign should be "does everything"
Imagine that, you're sitting there playing your game then you get a skype call. Skype call ends and a football game is about to come on so you snap that while still gaming.
They have a console that does everything. Eventually when the devs get comfortable with the architecture we'll have more 1080p games for the resolution-nazi's out there to...
Crytek = gorgeous game, short story
While the game doesn't speak directly to instructing gamers on how to be hackers, Beck's statement holds weight in the grand scheme of things, and it doesn't deviate from his position on real life privacy issues.
Not long ago it was leaked by Edward Snowden that the U.S. has been spying on its own citizens, enemies, and even world allies. Beck is about privacy, so a game like Watch_Dogs that shows how even the watchers need to be watched and how vulnerable technol...
I can understand the low scores. The driving mechanics are horrible, screen tearing on the X1 version. That's enough to be docked a point to me. There was a cutscene earlier on that was just horrible to watch due to the screen tearing.
However, I love this game so far.
The streets are definitely a lot busier than I thought they'd be. I love it but it feels overwhelming when you're just getting started. But I'd take that over the lifelessness of a game like ISS.
The focused their resources towards next-gen for the best possible experience. Every other game that has done multi-gen releases so far has had problems. Coincidence? I think not.
I agree with you Dwalls, Kinect is not a failure. However, it's really not an intricate piece to gaming yet. MS needs to develop a powerhouse AAA game that exclusively uses the Kinect. It can't be a casual game like Kinect Sports etc., it has to be a big time experience.
Of course they will lose money on it with the new SKU releasing without a Kinect, but they have to be willing to lose money in hopes of reestablishing the need for Kinect.
I didn...
The problem is spreading their resources too thin. They should have just focused on PC PS4 and X1. Every game that has been multi-generational has suffered so far with quality.
i guess the game will suck since it's not 1080p / 60 fps...
you're going to miss out on a promising title because it doesn't have the dreamy framerate and resolution PS4 fans have been lording over xbox one fans heads?
I support your choice but that kind of thinking will have people missing out on a lot of great games in the foreseeable future.
Resolution-gate has become a black eye on gaming. When the only thing that used to ma...
Hmm, I must qualify this by saying I love my xbox one. But so far the best game I've played was Infamous Second Son on my brothers PS4.
Multiplat games are running better on PS4, and as far as exclusives so far Ryse may have looked outstanding but it played awfully. Killer Instinct is cool I guess.
So far honestly games for both consoles have lacked the next-gen feel. The games coming are what's interesting and MS has nothing competing with The Orde...
not too long ago it was rumored at 900-980p i think. frames per second would be the same as ps4 30.
It's a smart choice. The kinect isn't necessary. Sure logging in manually is a little bit of a pain but outside of auo-login the kinect is essentially useless to me at times.
great idea
yawn...
The writer just needed 5 reasons for the article I guess. CDPR aren't known for shortchanging their games and having hindering bugs. The hype is warranted for this game. And to say The Witcher feels linear is silly.
