how can you make such an assumption that 360 owners were tired of their console and decided to jump ship to sony. 360 was the lead platform last year although the ps3 touted more power and in the end IMO had the better exclusives.
The PS4 was the cheapest of this gen consoles, also has more power, so that's more bang for your buck right out the box.
We can check sales numbers every month until the end of the generation, I highly doubt the Xbox One will ...
Watch Dogs wasn't original, it introduced some interesting concepts with hacking the world, but it was gimmicky. What I find lackluster in Destiny is the fact I've been there done that with Defiance. The graphics are horrible as well. All of these guys on N4G going on about graphics and the PS4 power, you really don't see that in Destiny at all. The opening cinematic looked amazing and then you actually play the game...MAJOR DIFFERENCE.

The game won't change much from now to September. It's a good game to spend some time with but it honestly is lackluster and almost an exact clone of another game.
While I like the game I can't help but feel that it's a first person clone of Defiance. Even right down to the default armor being nearly identical.
This game is 2 years too late, and the in game graphics are hideous, while the opening cinematic was stunningly beautiful. I know it's just a beta and they may add better textures or whatever graphic nuts may think but I'm not impressed with the visuals and the gameplay is simply another shooter.

I got the beta early this morning and I'm just not impressed. I hope those that like it really enjoy the experience though.
To me Mass Effect is the greatest gaming series ever. Some game design choices were headscratchers in ME3, but I understood why they went more action style rather than RPG.
The next installment will without a doubt be glorious, ME will forever get my dollars.

They do actually, drive club and little big planet 3 suppose to be released this year. But those only appeal to certain groups of gamers, whereas TLOU should be appealing to most "hardcore"-gamers

You can't even call it anything dealing with fanboyism. For years Bungie was supported solely by Xbox owners. Their Halo series would be nothing had it not been for the millions of Xbox owners. Now with their next big release they just told them all to F-off.

In this article they are trying to make it seem like Destiny is a PS4 exclusive, which isn't the case at all. And I see they are really going to push TLOU. That should bring a lot of new fans to the series hopefully, but that's about it exclusive wise except LBP3 and Drive Club.

I definitely prefer Games with Gold vs the PS+ setup. PS+ offers the better games, but you need to remain a PS+ subscriber in order to play them. That's a major drawback, whereas with Games with Gold, your game is your game regardless if you have xbox live gold or not.
It's funny how the article throws in how the game isn't taxing. So when X1 does a 1080p game I guess that's the excuse from now on.

I would take whatever score this game gets with a grain of salt. It's a barren wasteland in gaming this year so a game like Destiny HAS to score well. It's the first big release since earlier this year and the only ones to follow are COD and ACU. These games will get an artificial boost of a score because nothing else is really coming out this year.
