The game over screens in Metroid Prime 2 are still by far my favourite, simply because humanize of how they humanize Samus.

EA wants to have a bigger shooter than COD.
EA wants to have a bigger MMO than WOW.
EA wants to be better than steam.
They try and fail, because they do the exact same thing the same way their competitors do it. After seeing the direction they've taken with Dead Space 3 and some of their decisions with Mass Effect 3, one can't help but hope EA get's purchased somehow.

On top of that their aren't many downloadable games coming this month, well most release dates are up in the air minus the summer of arcade which mostly takes place in august anyway and rainbow moon.
The gamecube had the best one, easily.
Pikmin, Smash Bros, Luigi's Mansion, Rogue Squadron, Wave Race Blue storm, super monkey ball, Tony hawk 3.
Don't forget Borderlands 2.

I mean with a game like Halo, they're aliens. And when you're playing competitive multilayer, people die so comically that I never really feel like I am approximating actual blood lust.
That's part of the reason why i like achievements more.
I like the level system of trophies, but not so much the trophies part. I love the sheer number count of achievements, but there isn't really a sense of progression. Ultimately I like achievements more, but if the two systems could combine a general achievement system, that would be rad.
Well, look at it this way.
This is nintendo's next system, and so far I am put off by the controller, and that's the system's selling point. Okay, if I'm not interested in that, let me check out the way it looks. Not totally blowing me away, but I will get better looking. The problem, the wiiu will get better looking in comparison to the 360 and PS3, what does that mean for their evolutions?

Halo 2 not even on the list. Gear 3 at #80? Bioshock at #3?
Uncharted 2 at #14? No Mario Galaxy. Portal 1 at #13? Man, this is not a good list IMO.
Tbh, Last of Us isn't that original. I mean I am alive and countless other survival games have existed before it. It's a fresh take, an impressive one at that, but it's not necessarily flipping a genre on it's head with originality.
Edit: Beyond is a different story, I feel that game is pretty damn original.
