I think it's a generalizing leap to say all reviews are broken. Some reviewers are just more reliable than others. Simcity showed us (something I think we all ready knew to some extent) some writers swallow hype and then regurgitate, but a fair number of Sim City reviews reflect it's brokeness as a product.
It's like going to garage for the maintenance of your car. There are a lot of garages, and some of them are straight up dubious and some are not.
Last gen sony crushed nintendo and ms by orders of magnitudes. This gen sony was in third for most of its duration. Let's not act like MS fell from grace when they started from a place of hunger and earned their keep.
Kinect isn't going anywhere. I wouldn't have a problem with it, so as long as it works and it isn't invasive. Current connect is intresting, but horribly flawed and poorly implemented.
That is dumb.
Your speculation is dumb.
Well, I almost always trust eurogamer so idk edge.
I was listening to dtoid's podcast and they were right about one thing. People in the industry are too damn hungry for blood in regards to destroying markets within gaming.

Why didn't it launch this way? EA is finally learning the hard way that customers will only take so much exploitation.
Everytime someone famous supports gaming, gamers are always like "who is this I don't care, what do they have to do with games?" I don't know if it's gamer elitism or just people living under rocks but this always happens. Games are part of pop culture right? And if games are ever gonna rival movies and like attention from pop culture figures is good. Especially beyond "I love angry birds".
I'm not sure what to make of the share button. One on hand, developers might be lazy and do the whole "bottom DS screen is map" thing and not really think about intergenerating the share button beyond utilitarian functions such as "direct post to youtube account". On the other hand, if the PS4 is built around the share button, who knows the extent of its power and the craziness developers could start utlizing it for. It's pretty damn exciting, and despite my skepti...
The Wiiu is almost the oppostie of the wii. It was designed around accessibility verse technical prowess; and that worked once. But with the Wiiu, i don't think it will work again espcially because the wiiu isn't accessible. There's several controllers, counterintuitive online functionality, and almost no markee titles (new or old ip) out right now.
Iwata has condoned some bad descions, (aganist online, overpriced 3ds, etc.) and I wouldn't be suprised if he...
Well said Mike. And I agree. I feel like were on a cusp of awareness in games and yeah i guess their will continue to be questionable content. I think it's problematic if gaming doesn't learn from prior mistakes.
Fair is fair, I will concede to you guys on that. If that's the norm then that still isn't the problem and I don't go around wielding some PC stick. I said that in my earlier comment. My problem is the bros before hos trophy. Why?
That's what I heard, and that's why i think it's a bit gross. I mean you can chainsaw anya in gears, and that's not a big deal because everyone gets chainsawed and there's nothing glorfied about it. But this GOWA kill is different imo.
If Kratos just beat her up, that would be a little line walking, but it wouldnt be that big of a deal initself because this is god of war. But the Bros before hos trophy pop is gross and unnecessary.
From what I've heard by people who've played, it's especially brutal given the rest of the game and it doesn't really add anything to the story. I mean the rest of the game is really brutal so yeah, But bros before hos? that's a little gross.
I'm not sure I want anything to do with EA, for some time.
Let's look at the things they've done ately:
-Approve Bioware's series-destroying ending
-Turn interesting franchises into modern gaming trend checkboxes
-plan to grossly place microtransactions in just about every game
-Blatantly sell a broken product and then refuse to issue refunds.
Yeah, EA is honestly worse than activision or any other megapublisher...
In all fairness, if one developer deserves to stay around its ubi. they've done stupid things, but of all the third party mega publishers, they at least try to make inventive games.
I hope Edge is an outlier for Lego City. I don't have a wiiu, but I really want that game to do well.
Sim City burning.
