I almost hope this is true so MS eats so humble pie like Sony did, and think practically. The roles are looking like they're gonna reverse this year.
Score is wrong
Yeah, truly a feat of fear. When I was taking Infinite out of its case, I was sure it was gonna snap. Who designs cases like this?
Infinite is in my top 10 games of this generation. Right up there with Dead Space, Modern Warefare 1 and Shadow Complex.
Just injustice for me.
Damn, I'm starting to get weary of games journalism. A distinct wing of the press has become really nit-picky and jaded. Too much shooting? Well the combat is good, and there's just enough quiet parts in Infinite for world building. It's a FPS, not a full on RPG. It has better balance as it is, instead of crappy combat that crutches on a good narrative.
Also, who knows what the DLC will bring exactly.
I loved just about all the encounters in the game. The gameplay had so much options, it was cool to expirement with vigors, gear and weapon profficency in RPG-like ways of efficiency. I'm about to go through 1999 mode because I love that combat.
The thing is,
*********************SPOILERS ********
With the full reveal that tears are all different realities, the DLC will hopefully draw on that. And that makes me super excited. Gonna go get my season's pass soon, because I'm starting 1999 mode and could use the bonuses anyway.
Ok I have one question about the ending
(OBVIOUS SPOILERS)
If Elizabeth's deformity is reliant on Booker going back in time to try and save her, how does time elapse so that she's grown up in Columbia? If Comstock Booker was aware of false sheppard booker coming after Elizabeth (As he tells booker to explain Elizabeth's finger to her) that means booker's reality travel and interference has to happen, right?
I just can't fi...
I'm trying to think of a game that can beat this game for GOTY my this year. And I seriously can't. I feel lie last ke I'm ready for the PS4 now, because Infinite is like a perfect bookend for this generation. I know there's the Last of Us and GTAV, but GTAV looks like the same old stuff R* has gotten away with since GTA4. I don't have a ps3, but I assume Last of Us will be great, but Infinite is an unmissable for for all consoles, except Wiiu. Which sucks for them tbh.
I need to go get one.
Just Beat it, I'm blown away and someone spoiled one of the reveals, and I was still caught off guard.
Yes :)
My Far Cry 3 story issues:
(SPoilers possibly********************
-Jason never killed anyone, but is killing everyone in no time at all.
-the dream sequences never quite explain how boss encounters actually make sense narritvely, only vaguely allude to it after the Hoyt battle.
-The ending just throws aside the notions of sociopathic violence the game was building up to.
-the last third feels padded out and ...
Far cry 3s story was seriously flawed. I won't go at length, but I agree with this dude. Dream sequences, made no sense to star with (wasn't explained well at all).
Gameplay and a decently realized world can take a game alot further than pretty graphics and passable gameplay.
Look at Crysis 3 vs Dark Souls.
Literally every game results in contraversy now.
Can't a game just release relatively normally anymore?
I've passed on every game this month, for Infinite.
I hope it turns out well.
Alright, damn let's move on.
I mean, sony came in arrogantly this gen (and in someways understandably so), and MS was hungry for success.
