Developers wanna show off the best version of there games. Say for example if I sold knives I wouldn't use the dullest knife I could find. No one would buy it. You wanna show the sharpest ones you got. In this case ps4 and pc footage. Also Sony having a exclusive dlc deal you want people to get the dlc otherwise it would've been made for nothing. In the deal I wouldn't be surprised that at shows it has to be shown on playstation platforms as well.
According to the update it was recorded on the ps4 but they are playing the video on a pc to show it. Also explains why no one is playing it.
@ArbitorChief
Although the ps4 uses amd parts Nvidia did say they are still supporting the ps4 with physx. http://www.expertreviews.co...
I hope it comes to pc as well. Although seeing how it's soe making it I'm assuming it will.
@daniel2115
The whole point of a system seller is to target everyone to buy your console whether they are going from pc to consoles or from Xbox 360/ps3 to Xbox One.
On the other hand here is a link to a pc build which plays games better then the Xbox One and PS4 which costs $530. Dont go saying people cant afford it because if they can afford an Xbox One they can afford this pc. 4395d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment
Titanfall can be played on the PC though. Not really a system seller when you can get it elsewhere.
If people wanna upgrade there pc easily. Put $50 away a month and in 2 years you would have $1,200 to upgrade. Or for upgrading in 4 years put $25 a month away. In 2 years I'm hoping for the gtx 780ti to drop to $500, i7 4770k is about $350 if I remember correctly, 8gb of ddr3 is $100 and there is still money for a power supply or motherboard if needed.
I had my ps4 hooked up to a 42 inche tv and switch to the 24 inche asus vg248qe and even the ps4 on a monitor gets better textures and response times makes it a lot easier to aim. If you google piratings games on Xbox 360 or pirating games on ps3 there are articles everywhere about pirating. It's not just done on pc.
The big benefit of getting on pc over the ps4 is when we do upgrade our rigs if we loved a game we couldn't max out we can go back and crank up the settings. I don't think many people will be running it in 4k this year.
@Benjaminko
If it's all about the gameplay wouldn't you want a higher frame rate then? How then will the Wii U version outshine the PC version?
Imagine how hard it would be on your gpu if they had a pack of wolves surround you while beginning a fight.
@zod18
No it wouldn't take that much time to port to the ps4. PC games are made for high to low end rigs with having everything settings from high to medium and low end graphics. They will have to find the sweet spot with what texture quality they can have, anti aliasing, special effects, ect.
Every ps4 or xbox one is the same. So developers can optomize to squeeze every last ounce of juice out of them. It's like when new consoles launch they come with some good games. But the devs learn how to better optomize for them so games will get better for the next year or two. On pc there is so many different configurations they have to make the game work with every pc out there.
There is also things like consoles run 1080p and we here it all the time. But there are a...
No they haven't corrected it. Drive club even gave Shuhei Yoshida motion sickness and they scrapped vr support for Drive Club. Here is a link. http://www.playstationlifes...
I bought a evga superclocked 4gb gtx 760. But I don't expect it to outperform a titan going from directx11 to directx12 (2 gtx 760s in sli gets 40% more performance then a titan).
Each person likes different games. I always take reviews with a pinch of salt because some games others don't like I'll find to love.
Not every pc gamer has medium to high end pc. Even if someone buys a really good rig they can wait a long time to upgrade and keep turning down the settings. For me what I love about pc the most is that I can get 60fps on every game.
I know where you come from though. There has been a rise of criticisms after Battlefield 4 launched like a broken mess.
For upgrading my pc I really do enjoy it. Even though watch dogs supports 4k I won't be able to play it 4...
@zeee
I know what you mean. The game was completely broken upon release. I'm just not playing it anymore because I'm tired of all of the glitches. I'm level 111 too.
Second Assault and China Rising had a lot of rubber banding when I was playing it and it was first coming out. They patched it but it still happens like trying to climb over things I'll still rubber band. I'm cjust about done with EAs online games until I see good reviews without people complaining about how broken it is.
I wonder if even a 780ti would be good enough to play it on ultra. I got a gtx 760 so I doubt ill be playing on ultra. High maybe. Not to mention the fur tech will wreck my gpu. Lol
