I agree except for your last part. Why would I want my phone or tablet to be able to connect to it? I don't wanna read or type anything an inch from my face.

Youtube videos, netflix, tv shows and games are where people can really use this device.

Not yet. No games have been announced for it yet even. If anything we may get a demo at E3. Release date will probably be more likely announced at the end of the year or next year I'm guessing. If Sony does announce the release date at this e3 that would be nuts.

If you go to playstationlifestyle (dot) com I just read about 3 demos they got to use it in.

Making a game for the vr headset wouldn't be different then making games for a tv. They make the game for the PS4 and the PS4 handles the software. But instead of outputting to a tv they output it to the vr headset.

The biggest concern is the devs have to make motion tracking work with there game. They can't use all of the PS4s specs for graphics and expect motion tracking to just work. Unless part of the PS4s operating system is designed specifically for motion track...

The thing is people freak out. But they don't work at Ubisoft or know what is going on behind the scenes. Until we see the final product or a gameplay video 1080p that is stated it's from one of the next gen consoles. People freaking out over something they don't even know about.

What trailer back a while ago did people freak out. When they made Iesha into a character and put her in a trailer. It looked like a ps2 game and people where freaking out.

Didn't Cliff say he is done with disc based games. And how you can throw a game out there on pc and people will teach each other. No more press x to jump tutorials.

No wonder why he would look down on the consoles trying to make those gamers look bad.

Yeah. But on the other hand developers don't want to give too many things away about there game. I really enjoy going into games to see what secrets I can find in them. Just think about going through a game and everything we come across we already saw in demos. It makes the game so much better not knowing lots so where ever we go we discover different things about it.

I actually played far cry 3 on the ps3. Just built a pc so I'm using far cry 3 for getting used to mo...

You don't need a $2000 pc to beat out the Xbox One or PS4 though. The gtx 750ti in an old computer can beat it out. $150 gpu lol. Those articles are a while back.

I just built a computer with a 4gb gtx 760, 750 watt power supply, cooler master hyper 212 evo, 8gb gskill ripjaw ddr3 ram, asus z87-a motherboard and all the other accessories for under $1300 canadian. In USD that would run about $1050 to $1150 though. At 900p it beats out battlefield 4 on the ps4 easily. Even ...

@gillri

PC parts that don't get fully ultilised? That is completely on the person who builds/buys it. However you don't need a top of the line pc to play games on them. You can turn down a couple settings and still play 1080p 60fps. But here is the beauty of pc. In 2-4 years a new pc gpu will come out and the titan that is $1000 will most likely drop to $500 - $300. Then you go out and buy it and upgrade you pc. If you have a game you love, lets say this next batman g...

You know Sony owns Columbia Pictures and music studios that make a load of money every year. Playstation is flat not gaining but not loosing money either. There tv, audio and pc division is where they are loosing money big time. They were talking about cutting 5,000 staff and selling off there pc division. But what people fail to recognize is as of last year Sony has 151 billion in assets. Money in the bank + buildings they own. Even if Sony continues to loose money for the next couple of yea...

Not the best idea because of the looting system. Unless you get private loot.

Well Bioshock 2 wasn't made by Irrational games. Just please don't screw it up..... we have had 2 games underwater and 1 in the sky. What other places could they explore?

4367d ago 6 agree2 disagreeView comment

Yes but with "next gen" consoles as the focus it'll hold back PCs. This just plain sucks.

Sure you have 91 platinums but what does that really get you? The only reason I try to get trophies is because it makes me slow down and enjoy the game more giving me an extra objective. I got like 4 platinums but they really haven't done nothing for me having them.....

There is also things like they are using more Advanced anti aliasing because of the resolution they are choosing.

This is a stupid comparison. The PS4 is only available on Amazon Japan for minutes before they sell out. Then the next month there is usually another time they put more PS4s up. The copies of the games aren't limited so they can sell as many games as possible.

I hope Nintendo thrives but seriously who comes up with these articles?

Yeah forsure. I'm building a PC in April so I'm gonna check out Amnesia then. My PS4 is gonna be for exclusives and the free games with PS+.

Outlast is better then any of the AAA horror games I've played. It doesn't matter if it's indie or AAA. It's the quality of the games.

I've seen The Evil Within gameplay video and it doesn't look scary at all compared to Outlast.

I meant the gpu can be at 70°C to 75°C and still be perfectly fine.

4375d ago 10 agree3 disagreeView comment

In a computer people overclock there parts all the time. The GPU can be at 70°C-75°C and when it hits 80-85°C it is very high. For the CPU for gaming it goes to about 70°C but doing other non intensive stuff it drops to 40°C and seeing how it's 2 tablet CPUs it won't be going that high. Most chances it has to do with thermal paste, a deffective fan on the CPU or GPU or people let dust settle on the PS4 so it can't blow the hot air out. Still 0.4 percent of...
