That is the internet. Millions of people with those rotten eggs on the side.
I don't mind microtransactions with free to play titles. But I refuse to pay $60, microtransactions and DLC.
Not only that but with Gaikai you should be able to stream GTA V, The Uncharted gamess, God of War games , ect to the PS4. Instead of just porting 1 game they can bring all of there flagship titles over that way. People that switched from Xbox 360 to PS4 will have a lot of games to choose from. That is forsure.
It's not as easy to port a PS3 game to the PS4 though. To do that they need to rewrite the entire games coding. Porting a game from PC to PS4 is easy because they use the same X86 architecture but cell architecture to X86 isn't that simple unfortunately.
Or wait for Gaikai so you can stream it on the PS4.
I know it's sarcasm but devs don't make games for high end PCs because to make that level of detail they need to take more time to make the game and not every pc gamer has a high end pc. It limits how many people can play it. So while development costs rise the number of people that buy it goes way down.
Santa Monica is helping but they also have there own games in development. When Ready at Dawn was making God of War games for the PSP Santa Monica helped them with that too.
You get xp boosts from every battlepack and the DLC most people couldn't even get into. Just continuous error messages. There aren't barely any matches for the DLC because of it. I still am yet to get a game of conquest on the DLC maps. I've checked almost every time I get on if there was a match I could join.
The extra guns are nice but from those guns that I've tested out they aren't even that good. At least give descent guns. The only one that is descen...
What about the people that bought premium then? We paid for it at launch expecting the game to work fine. Not only $60 for the game but $50 for premium as well. If they give dlc away for free then people who bought premium will be getting ripped off.
Before thinking of DLC they should fix all of the rest of the bugs anyways. Why expand a broken game? it really ticks me off when a building is falling and it crashes or your about to win and the screen goes to error message. <...
Well think this way. If they sell there game at a retailer they have to burn the disc, making the boxes to sell them in and pay shipping fees for worldwide shipping. Then after that the money is split between the retailer, sony or microsoft gets a cut because it is on there console and then the dev gets money.
When releasing a game digitally all they have to do is load it to PSN or XBL and sell it. They als only have to split the money 2 ways.
Say if the 3 wa...
This is a response to your other coment below. But since PS+ gives free games, access to demos and discounts Sony is already doing that. Not to the degree that steam sales are but that way Sony can continue to push there PS+ service. Sony started pushing it at e3 when they made it mandatory to game online with most games. Digital sales will be another one of there sales points.
I love PS+ though. Contrast and Resogun are going to be sold for $15 each so already saved $30. In...
I just wish 4k tvs weren't expensive.
If you go into the settings and turn off the vibration feature the controller lasts a ton longer.
Yet the multiplayer was broken at launch. The single player is awesome but the 1 hit bullpump shotguns from 150 feet away when someone pops out around a corner auto locking onto you was just garbage. No skill required.
But when I was a kid I remember opening presents and wanting to play with them right when I opened it.
What happened to Primal Carnage Genesis? I remember seeing a couple of the trailers but nothing for a super long time.
I doubt it is from Capcom seeing how they are almost broke. The only reason Dead Rising 3 came out was because Microsoft published it and Deep Down will come out because Sony has there team working with Capcom. Unless they fund there project it's probably not from Capcom.
It's going to be a long wait to see this though.
Two words. Planetside 2.
I would compare it to Titanfall because both games come out on PC and consoles.
Well Cory Barlog returned to Santa Monica to work on it plus the Battlestar Galactica writer was working with SSM . http://www.playstationlifes...
I'm not sure why that would get disagrees. I don't have it myself but my friends have had the worst time trying to play it. It's literally broken and unplayable.
