@RevolverX
I think you're taking my general basis to serious. I even clarified that my statement was NOT about AC3, but pre ordering in general. Then clarified, that I will probably be purchasing AC3 cause I like the series, that's if all goes well.
"At Gamestop it only takes $5 to pre-order and get those "worthless" bonuses. In the meantime you can do research."
-I would always research the product first. Why would it be t...
I think Mass Effect 2 came out a few years back.....but seriously, Mirrors Edge 2 would be awesome. 1st person platforming was pretty fun the way the gameplay structure was set up.
@Nimblest-Assassin
Yah, AC3 is looking awesome, no doubt about that. Wasn't trying to downplay the new game. Mainly saying that I don't blindly buy anything without fulling knowing what I'm getting, games are not an exception.
I like the AC franchise so I'll be picking it up as well.
I'm not disagreeing with you, but Battlefield has had the best of both worlds, in some ways. They've always done a fairly decent job of having large open battlefields mixed with city/building/corridor areas for CQC and areas for vehicles. Its just sort of odd that they would only focus one one aspect only. Its not what most long time fans wanted. I mean Battlefield is an awesome franchise with destruction, vehicles, CQC, open environments, etc...but focusing solely on one aspect only ...
Definitely. I completely agree. Those bonuses are most always worthless. Not always, but you know, most of the time. Getting a credit, a physical item or another game is great. Yet, the majority of your releases are meaningless guns/skins/early unlocks, etc.
I would have to agree to disagree with you on this one. I dont think we are "rewarding" innovation as much as we are hindering it. I'm excited for AC3, but new features/content won't necessarily make a great game. There are a ton of factors outside of new ideas that make a great game. I mean, AC3 could turn out to be terrible and then we all got suckered in by extensive marketing/hype. Its like blindly purchasing something on the hope that you like it. Many will, but I don...
There would have to be a reason (money) why they would release it for XBL only. It wouldn't be idiotic, it would be business.
Truthfully though, if it did come to XBLA, that means Ps3 would get it a month or so later. I doubt Sega would release Shenmue exclusively for Xbox just because. It would most likely be a timed exclusive.
There is so much failure in your comment that I dont even know where to begin. Please refine your trolling skills first, as its just not adequate enough at the moment. Decent try though.
You're right. Didn't really pay attention to that the first time around. Well, I don't play TDM on BF3 so I guess the map doesn't apply to me.
Yes! I really hope this series continues onward. Demons Souls and Dark Souls are my favorite games to come out this generation.
Japanese games are awesome. The probably make up about 80% of my collection and general gaming hours. Im not understanding the increasing resentment of the East.
What really ruins Japanese games is the westernization of their IPs. Other than that, they still make stellar titles. Once they start to "appeal" to the western audience it degrades their standards and ruins the game/series.
Im glad we can continue this conversation haha. I don't see it as a scam or ripoff. Again, as long as the price is within a reasonable range than no issues. Obviously, if it was priced at 20 dollars, plus 5 dollar shipping than yah, no go. 10 dollars? He is practically giving the Ebay item away for next to nothing. I'm definitely not envious of his 5 dollars.
The way I see it, he is supposed to charge 10, so he can make 6 to 8 bucks. If it cost me a quarter or even ...
Oh, well thats not so bad. I like ebay. I can purchase items not available in the states. I have a fairly extensive collection of gaming items, collectibles and randoms. I'm sure I probably "over paid" for a lot of those items, but it doesn't bother me. If I can be offered a fair price than its fine with me.
I paid someone 10 dollars for a 99 cent item that I could never get a hold of otherwise. I see nothing wrong with that. Thats how people make money. See...
I agree with ThePsychoGamer. Probably wait a bit till the library expands and offers more titles. Its got some great games right now, but not enough of a quantity or variety at the moment.
If you wanted to start playing some of the games from the extensive DS library than yah, get the 3ds. That way you would be set. If you wanted to get the 3ds specifically for 3ds games you might get burned out quickly due to the lack of titles.
On just a handheld level, it...
Maybe so. The price was listed in U.S dollars, shipped from Japan. I probably did get ripped off, but I didn't research into the collection.
Mainly, I just wanted the Dreamcast model, nothing more. I saw it for 10 bucks and bought it. If I could get the whole collection for a few bucks that would be cool to. If I was buying the whole set than yah, big waste of money. A one time, 10 dollar purchase, not so bad. Its a pretty cool, well replicated model. Price is justified....
You can buy those tiny console models on ebay. I have that exact same model, but for the Dreamcast. It opens up, comes with the controller, an extra VMU and Space Channel 5 disc and case.
Its a pretty cool collector type model item. I purchased it from a company in Japan for 10 dollars plus shipping. It was like 15 dollars total I think. This was about a year or two ago so I dont remember the exact price.
Even if next gen consoles aren't "bleeding edge" I would still purchase one, if not all of them. One simple fact...exclusives. I don't think anyone would abandon their gaming platform so they can play Infinity Blade on their phone.
I have no problem with Apple gaming. Its pretty cool that you can turn on a mobile device and play some fairly advanced games. Yet, the market and appeal are in 2 different universes. Apple can't beat next gen consoles just be...
Well, the map lives up to the CQC name. Not really my ideal image of a Battlefield map, but oh well.
I'm pretty sure I'll be skipping the CQC pack all together. I know a lot of gamers enjoy that aspect of BF3, but I'm more geared towards maps that are actual "battlefields" in a sense. Maps that encompass all the fun aspects of Battlefield and not just 1 playstyle. The theme idea is pretty cool, but I don't see why they just can't put together som...
Reviews? People were writing 2 words on launch day and marking a zero. Of course it was trolling. What kind of gamer would take that sort of information seriously?
This is the one collection I've been waiting for more than any. So stoked that they finally put this together.
