Exactly. People are never happy with what they get, ESPECIALLY GAMERS. The self entitlement within the gaming community is ridiculous. The whole idea makes me hang my head in shame. The people that actually take this guys side need a reality check.

I feel no remorse for the guy. Reading his story makes me embarrassed for him. He is essentially crying on a message board because his item was out of stock. Then he rallied the mob of followers because Activision would not give him an Ipad of greater value.
Activision went out and personally got his prize, but he had to endure the "hardships" of emails and talking to people.

I would have to disagree on just about every angle with that one. EA makes/publishes some amazing games, yet there are the absolute worst in terms of how they treat their fan base/customers. Maybe people get the game at the end of the life cycle? Maybe some just want to play the game? I mean, some people don't like having to needlessly unlock everything and merely want to play a few quick matches here and there.
Nothing wrong with paying for the unlocks if you want. At least the option is there for people who don't have the time schedule to grind XP for their favorite weapon.

I think its pretty obvious that they want your games so they can resell, that is sort of their business after all. I took advantage of the deal myself and was able to pay off The Last Story and Xenoblade Chronicles without any money from my pocket.

After putting hundreds of hours into MW3, the game itself really isn't that bad. Its the community that has ruined COD. They should scale back the killstreaks and proficiency system a bit as that would make things a little more fun.

You don't need to partake in ridiculous glitches to beat the game. The standard flow of progression is enough to complete the game, without having to grind at all. Merely, you need to understand how to beat a boss/enemy and not just hack and slash. You have to block, roll, dodge and attack when necessary. Stick to those basics and the game becomes rather easy.

That sounds awesome. Menu layout and item functionality is a big reason why I want the WiiU. So many games could benefit from the use of the tablet screen. This is definitely the sort of thing I'm looking forward to the most with the system.

Try putting your soul sign on the bonfire, or as close to the bonfire as possible. You should be able to get into co op much faster that way. Most people already have 2 co op partners by the time they get to the boss door. Give it a try, you might have more luck.

Well, I don't know about that. If I had to choose I would probably go with the Tales series. I like both, but if I had to absolutely pick one series, Tales, easily. I think the series as a whole is more refined than FF.

Pretty good article. I really like the risk/reward factor in the Souls games. When I first played Demons Souls I didn't realize that EVERYTHING takes souls. I wasted so many of my souls in the beginning. I was much more cautious in Dark Souls.
I'm honestly pretty surprised they haven't put together a GTA collection. Seems like it would be a perfect fit for that sort of thing.
