Powerstone definitely has its own unique vibe though. I really liked the level design in Powerstone 2 and how they mixed it up with the deterioration and build up of tiers for each map. Plus, the item creation was such a blast. I spent so many hours trying different combinations just to get those really fun weapons into the game.

I don't specifically know who you are referring to when you say "you guys." I am not the voice of the public, I'm merely stating my own opinion.
A lot of titles are milked. Why would that be an insult? Quality over quantity my friend. When a dev/publisher runs out of ideas, yet continually keeps making the same game over and over, then yah, time to abandon ship and move on. Otherwise, nothing wrong with some numerical number attach...
If a game doesn't sell 500 billion copies on day 1, most gamers consider the game a "failure."
There is nothing wrong with milking a franchise though. As long as the quality and design is still top notch I see nothing wrong. Really, that goes for any franchise. They could make 100 GOW games and I'd still play them as long as they were finely crafted. The number attached to the title is irrelevant.
Yah, the well seems pretty dried up. Nintendo games are still fun and enjoyable. Dont you hate that?
I don't think it "needs" to be powerful, although it would be convenient. If they can get games in HD with online functionality and tablet support, that would be awesome.
So, what was the point of this article? The guy basically stated what is already common knowledge/common sense.
Gamestop just happens to use the medium of games to make a profit. Any store that specializes in a product is almost identical to Gamestop in every way.
Which is more important? Well, neither. The entire site is built upon irrelevant information and the whole "X is better than Y" mentality.
I don't see how any one can take Metacritic seriously.
I don't even play COD, but I mean, 16 maps and you're still whining?
It should have been included? What? Were the 16 original maps not enough for you? Jeez.
True, yet why not just offer a couple of different SKUs for those who want the option? I would pay a couple hundred more for a BC model and for those that don't care, just stick with the standard system. Win win.
I have no interest in re buying a game just to play it on a certain console when the disc is less than a foot from me. I hope they continue offering and selling older titles, and I'm sure they will, but BC would be nice. I mean, I have this insane and vast P...
Skyrim isn't broken. My game still runs at a buttery smooth 13 frames per second. So for everyone complaining about 5 frames per second, I have no idea what you're talking about. Seems fine to me.
The "broken quests" aren't actually broken either, they're supposed to be like that. That is the quest itself. Adds to the lore of the game.
"1. Wii U GPU is less powerful than Xbox360/PS3 according to developers, which means it has no edge besides the tablet interface to attract core users. Initial third-party titles are likely to be only ports from Xbox360/PS3 titles. A bundled WiiSports/Mario title may help initial sales beat Wii launch, but Wii was severely production-constrained and the surprise factor from Wii U is less."
- According to developers the GPU is also more powerful than 360/PS3, so whic...
Exactly. I'm sure we'll probably see a Kid Icarus game on WiiU at some point in time. Its highly unlikely they would release one 3ds game and then shelve the character again. I wouldn't be surprised even if we saw a sequel on the 3ds.
I'm perfectly fine with them being in second or last place on the market as long as they keep up the content and games. I know they aren't in the lead, but that's not something I ponder upon while I'm playing PS3.
Like NYC_Gamer said, it would be much better if they put together a solid product and released it within a timely manner. I would hate for Sony to be the victim of a rushed product so that they can be "first" this time around. If they happe...
Disc release was a much better choice.
It could have been a cheap download title if they cut about 90% of the game.
I mean for 60 bucks it was one of the most content packed games in the last couple of years. The game had about 70 something levels, what more could you ask for in a full game? Unlockable characters, unlockable levels, challenge levels, time trials, hidden areas and co op? Well yah, its all there.
I don't see how they got gr...
Honest question
What is so bad about Activision? This is merely an open question of sorts.
They do a yearly release of a game that the masses want. Thats about it.
Most people say Activision because they hate COD. Their consumer practices are pretty standard and straight forward though without resorting to cheap tactics, unlike EA.
I buy tons of used products all the time. I'm not making an exception for gaming as a "special circumstance" any time soon.
Power of the system is irrelevant and meaningless information. I just want to play games in HD with the tablet.
I think they have that covered. Day 1 purchase for me.
Even if a lot less people buy COD, that would still leave 50 trillion copies to be sold.
