Actually, this game is an evolution to what Sega already did with the first game. The game includes boating, flying and racing all within one track design, hence the transformed tagline in the title. The first one was awesome, but needed improvement in certain areas. Its looks like the put a lot more polish into the game this time around. Nothing wrong with being a clone as long as the game is good though.
This is awesome news. The art style is downright gorgeous in Okami. Definitely a game that would work well for an HD upgrade.
I have no idea what you are talking about or what your comment is referring to. The Wii has been dead for a while now, yet what does that have to do with ps1?
All I was saying is that there are plenty of games to sink into for the time being.
I really like the Etrian Odyssey series, so count me in.
The Wii has been dead for a majority of people, but not for me. Not even close. I'm 150 hours into Xenoblade and still playing. Afterwards I'll be picking up Skyward Sword, The Last Story, Kirby Collection and Pikmin 2. That should keep me going all the way up until the launch of the WiiU.
I fell for the trap that was Brink. The game looked absolutely incredible with the parkour, customization and objective based gameplay....but man, it was pretty bad. Still can't believe I wasted 64 dollars on that. It had so much potential, but didn't really follow through on any core element.
The only reason I brought up that subject is because, after watching an interview, they stated that there is only one mode. So that aspect has been confirmed. There will be variations to that mode like 2v2, 1v1, 3v1, etc, but they stated that is how the game is played and that is how it is set up.
I mean I'm sure they can add other modes at a later date, after release, but so far this is the game. I'm not complaining though, I'm just hoping the balance is correct....
Like most others, I'm sort of worried about how super moves win the game. Hopefully it works out cause the game looks great and a ton of fun, yet it could be completely destroyed if the core mechanics aren't balanced properly.
I definitely would have liked some more standard/customizable setups outside of the concrete "super move wins" style. I'm gonna keep an open mind that it will actually work correctly when the game is released.
I think what it was is that you start back at the beginning of the area or stage and you lose everything. If you want to reclaim your gear/items/weapons, you have to go back to where you died and kill your zombie self that now has your backpack.
Its a pretty funny idea that your former self turns into a zombie.
@BattleAxe
Yah, definitely man. You can clearly tell that Mario Galaxy was quickly thrown together with little to no effort. I mean, Mario Galaxy is almost an exact replica of Super Mario Bros. It's like they copy and pasted the exact same game.
Nintendo isn't fooling you, that's for sure.
Mario is a franchise for those who like platformers.*
Fixed your typo for you.
Being more or less powerful isn't the main point for everyone though. I know the next systems from Micrsoft and Sony will be more powerful, yet that has no bearing on my decision to purchase the WiiU. Its not like I have to pick just one anyway, which is how most people seem to think for some reason. Whats holding gamers back from purchasing multiple systems? Well, besides money.
I'm interested in playing games using that tablet controller and Nintendo always has rea...
Looks pretty good.
I don't play much COD myself so I'm actually somewhat interested and excited about Black Ops 2. I wouldn't say its at the top of my list, but I will definitely be playing it this year.
I could care less what the "gamer label" is when associated with this game. I'm going to play what I want.
Yah, I usually try and play through my backlog during the summer. Its the only time were not bombarded by new releases end on end.
Wait, didn't Micrsoft copy the Dreamcast controller?
So basically, the Wii U pro is a Dreamcast controller if you think about it.
Makes no difference who copied who though. Its a controller. As long as its functional I have no problems.
Tech in consoles means literally nothing. Especially when compared to a phone. More RAM in a phone? Great. Still irrelevant to a piece of gaming hardware. Consoles always release with old tech. Next gen will be no exception. Phones might still have more RAM than next gen. Wouldn't make a difference.
Yah man totally. That extra RAM definitely comes in handy. I mean, the Samsung Galaxy has WAY better games than anything offered on the consoles.
Oh wait, no it doesn't. Try again my friend.
Time to boot up my 900 hour save file and get back into the flow of Dark Souls. Haven't played in a while, but man, new DLC sounds awesome.
I was a little worried at first that the content wasn't coming to consoles.
I was waiting to see what sort of revision or upgrade they would put together for the 3ds. I'll probably pick one up now. The screen looks freakin massive compared to the original.
