People arguing about what piece of plastic a disc is shipping on is just embarrassing.
I have yet to play 13 so I'll probably pick this up. Negative criticism aside, I still would like to try it for myself.
In all honesty, ps3 owners should have known this was gonna happen. I sure as hell did. Oblivion, Fallout 3 and New Vegas were all a mess on ps3. They were playable, but no where near the level of 360/pc.
I'm baffled as to how anyone is surprised at this issue with Skyrim. Its pretty obvious this was gonna happen.

Unfortunately, this is pretty standard. Personally though, I was waiting for this announcement. I try not to be an early adapter of multiplayer games. Those who wait usually get rewarded. I figured that out pretty early on.
People who purchased the game day 1 should get a free map pack or something. Wont happen though.
Dreamcast is my favorite console of all time, by a huge margin. I still play the system pretty regularly.

The first Assassins Creed was definitely one of the most boring and mundane games I've ever played. The series is amazing, but I never would have guessed that from playing the first. It was just so overly the top repetitive.
True, I agree with most of what you said. Its a sort of balance for both the industry as a whole and Gamestop.
Pushing hardware is definitely a win win for both sides.
Their pre order incentives are easily some of the best with varying trade in values, tiers and promos. Used is obviously their bread and butter though. Even if you have a new game in your hand they'll try to swap it with a used copy. Can't argue that.

As much as people complain about Gamestop, they still push software and hardware just as much, if not more, than any other company. Just look at their constant incentive programs for upgrading to new hardware, pre ordering new games or purchasing DLC.
Personally, I like Gamestop and I really enjoy used games, both of which are here to stay for a very long time.
I really hope Nintendo brings Majora's Mask to the 3ds. Knowing Nintendo, they probably will.
